  4. I have posted about issues in the past. Someone recommended me about a breaker in Darwen Lancashire on this iste. When speaking to him he does repairs as well. I have given my car and he sounds a top bloke. Really enthusiastic. Updating me every time he has completed a task. His name is Paul Foster +447590072646 Not received the car back yet as he has only started today. However my sixth sense is telling me is going to be spot on. Will update when I get the car back.

  6. Hi guys. Just replaced inner tie rods today and outer last year. What a massive difference it has made. No more judder when braking at 60mph. Finally solved this issue after 6 years. However the play in the steering wheel is still there. When stationary it is you can turn left and right really loose without turning wheel and then a clunk. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
  7. Has anyone tried any oil leak bottles such as Lucas etc???? Or would it do more damage. On Amaon got some good result???
  8. Mechanic said it is a gasket above the oil pump on top of engine. In between the oil pump and top of engine somewhere. He said too big of a job.... Looks like I am going to get another opinion.
  9. It is a mk4. it started about 165,000 about a year ago. it has now 170,000 I used to have a mk3 for work on LPG. Worked out about driving a 2.0 litre car. It had 230,000 before head gasket blew.
  10. thanks. Booked in local garage tommorow and see where it is leaking. I hope it is not the crank seal and can as that is supposed to be really expensive
  11. Arrgghhhh... I fixed the power steering leak. Now I have an oil leak in front of engine dripping onto sump. Anyone any ideas where this could be as a guess

  14. I have to change my inner tie rods due to steering wheel wobble, pulling to left and cannot wheel alignment. This was diagnosed at Kwik Fit. However Lexus are quoting £270 a pair. I have seen some at £25 each from firstline. Any recommendations please. Many thanks in advance
