Did you try putting the disc in then disconnecting the battery for a min then reconnecting , this worked for me with a non genuine disc update. Sent from my GT-N8010 using Tapatalk -
I wasn't paying Dealer prices for a new map,so after a bit of searching found a seller who charges €20 euro for an update disc,been in the car now last 3 months working perfectly,although I did have to disconnect the battery for a minute before it worked.

I wouldn't think you should have any problems the value of these cars are excellent for uk folk because of our stupid motor tax regime where my 450h cost €1806 to tax for the year your car a little less at €1200 so nobody wants to pay that.

I'm just starting the clean up job on the exterior of my 450h,on the rear passenger door down the bottom is a moulding that has the word hybrid on it,on mine the previous owner has caught it off something and put some sort of rivet in it to hold it in place which looks crap,has anybody got the lexus part no for this and any idea how much it will cost for a new one,Thanks.

There are a few on e-bay for a lot less than main dealer prices but you will have to factor in painting in the price.
