  1. Had it a few times since posting....I suspect the neighbours cat currently...
  2. The alarm on my 300h Exec keeps going off. Usually around 2am or any point when I'm at the height of my restorative sleep cycle. It's bloody loud and gives my ticker a good workout. Anyone experiencing the same? There's nothing external setting it off and I've looked for flies or any other object capable of independent movement inside.
  3. I came from a 320d and overall loved the car. It felt raw and powerful in a way that the IS doesn't. That being said I chose the IS over the BMW as its a much nicer place to sit for extended periods and is way smoother and relaxing. If you fancy tearing around and like the BMW image then go for that. If you fancy understated quality and a more relaxing drive take the IS.
  4. Looking good, think I'll do it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I do like the look of them and given the motorway miles I do my thinking is that it will limit the gunge that collects on the bumper behind the wheels after each and every journey at the moment. My last car didn't seem to suffer as much and it was white... So it sounds like £80 ish and some minor drilling. I'll give it some thought! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I'm definitely happy with it but as others have said, my driving style has changed somewhat. I was following a colleague down the motorway yesterday behind his 2013 3series and I just didn't fancy keeping up and instead sat at 75 while he disappeared into the distance. 7. Has anyone fitted their own after market mud guards on an IS? Wondering if it's a simple job and whether any new holes need to be made/drilled. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Since owning my car (4ish weeks) I've only reset the mpg readout twice and can report an average of 47mpg over my weekly commute which consists of 3x160 mile round trips on the motorway and maybe 20 miles in town driving. My main concern when purchasing was that I'd see significantly less mpg on the motorway vs my 3series, but I'm glad to say that I'm only down by around 6mpg overall. 2015 IS300h Exec edition
