  1. you could use something like ghost or preinst or qwest (sure i have spelt it wrong) this will copy your whole hard drive when you have a system working well always make a ghost build of it the are lots of bits of software that do the same as ghost

    hope this helps

  2. when you put your new plate on tell the DVLA you wish to retain it on the system (no fee) and it will not be issued they put a note against it on the system.

i have just swooped mine back on my old car and they kept my old plate for 17 years

also tell your insurance people that you want to retain the plate if the car gets stolen otherwise if you have paid £5k>£10K for the plate when the insurance pays you out the plate is theres

    hope this helps

  3. i have a Brink one on mine and without the ball on there's just a small square plastic plug you can hardly see it you will need a raydall switch box to stop the warning light coming on fitted it myself takes about 2 hours and you need to drill 2 holes don't think the IS has the grunt to tow a van though i use mine to tow a jetski but thats very light

  4. I have an original Lexus kit I think it’s a universal one it comes as two parts

Main kit is “LPA Main Kit 1 PZ464-KO420-00” and the 4 sensor kit “TPA 400 Sensor Kit Black PZ464-00420-00” for info the main kit has the control box buzzer and wiring in it and the sensor box just has the four sensor’s in it I think it’s in two parts so you can get the sensors in different colours

    Hope this helps

  5. Mine isn't on a plate it's embossed on the body.......

Open your bonnet and look towards the windscreen, right in the center on the chassis wall under the rubber seal you should see the VIN No. and the model No., the paint code should be right there too....... :winky:

Thanks Noel i will go and have a look when it's stopped raining
