  1. Yeah parts would swap over Toothy, but the Recaro's are pretty involved to swap, plus they're the wrong colour. As I say, I'd love the 13k miler, but tbh, I'm just not sure the ISF is a 28k car anymore, low mileage or not. You would need to be an ISF die hard to buy at that level, which I am, but its finding someone else who is when its time to sell. In another couple of years, I'd say my USB car around 21ish will be an easier car to sell that the white super low mileage car at 25k if you see where I'm coming from. Stevie
  2. Optimus Trimmers in Glasgow re-trimmed it for me. Top job, its like factory! Had to order IS350 mounts from the states. Took an age for them to arrive! Then its was off to an Auto Electrician to sort out the wiring. Not going to lie, it was pretty involved. The only thing I've always been disappointed with was the seats and the fact I could never get them low enough. The Recaro CSs are perfect, and couldn't believe my luck when I managed to source a pair in almost the right colour. Front to back they're fine! I've lost my electric seat adjustment, heated seats and PCS, but I'm happy with the trade off for a perfect driving position 👍 Stevie
  3. Thanks Toothy, they're actually from a Lotus Evora! It was for DAW's pearl white car, but I've decided to just keep what I have.
  4. Number 3 Messa>Pearl>USB Just love an ISF :) Had this one two years and changed a few things along the way to address a few small issues I've always had; Noise (lack of) with a H&S, Seating Position with Recaros, Steering Wheel (Now Alcantara) and ride height with Bilsteins. The only problem is, I've now spotting a beautiful Pearl White car with ultra low miles with even lower mileage than my own and I'm in a real quandary as to whether I should buy or not due to having my current car exactly as I want. Blast that bloody Auto Trader! I only went on to show my wife FC300hs! Stevie
  5. Hi Peter, have you noticed the car more lively at the top end? Its certainly not rounded the exhaust note off too much. Still has the lovely dry V8 rip that I've grown to enjoy of th H&S. stevie
  6. Cool build thread Peter! Looked your seats up, v nice. Love the carbon backs, will go lovey with the new carbon trim in the car. Looking forward to seeing the results with the H&S cross pipe. I've got used to the H&S on the new blue car, but still quite embarrassing in certain situations. Also don't feel the car just quite as keen at the top end unlike my white car with the Borla system, which did run a cross pipe. Keep up the good work :) stevie
  7. Hi Daw, yes, I suppose that I probably am! First car took me literally by surprise! I took a Messa red car in px and it completely blew me away. Kept it for 6000miles, but had to sell it as my current car didn't sell and had to put it up for sale. Once in a better position bought the Pearl White car that was an absolutely gem which I ran for two years, but managed to sell for zero loss after 20,000miles. Being in the motor trade I couldn't say no! I regretted it almost straight away! I bought a 13 BMW 330d M-Sport xDrive with mega spec, but it just didn't do it for me. I also think the E90 330d is a much better built car. So it's now up for sale. Having dipped in and out of the ISF market for the past few months not many new cars come up. The USB car I settled on had enough pluses to up my original budget. I'm glad I did. Buy a cheap and you get what you pay for. Just like any performance car! Anyway, where's the best place to buy a decent front lip and KWs 😄 Stevie
  8. Hi Pete, ive got a great guy up here that can add me in a x pipe. The Borla system I have has one and is a lot less raspy. Think I'll add one of those and sell the Borla if the end result is acceptable. Every morning I'm sure I loose another happy neighbour on cold start lol stevie
  9. Hi Giblet, yup, that's the one. Already picked up the previous owners user name. Didn't take much with the old reg lol Not spoken to the chap yet, but certainly seems like a decent lad. Im delighted with the car. Happy to be back in ISF. Just not sure about the H&S though. Bit LOUD! Stevie
  10. Even Dipak,

your ISF now lives back in not so sunny Scotland 😊

Really lovely car. I'm delighted with it. Hope the new dog is worth the sacrifice!

Your friend Michael handled the transaction very professionally. Was really good chatting with him.

This is my 3rd ISF, my last having a Borla system. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to live with the H&S if I'm honest. It's entertaining on a blast, but driving to south of France with Julie and the two children..... Hmmmm, maybe not!

I wonderd if you still had the original air box & exhaust? If so, I would be very grateful if you could perhaps package them to allow me to arrange uplift?

I doubt they are of any use to anyone, and would be nice to have them here in the event I looked to put the car back to stock trim.

Hope this message finds you well!

      Hi Stephen,

      Sorry for late reply...

Yes the exhaust is loud ! H&S in Essex kept the old system and think another member took them last year L His name was Roheel : 07961 955508. He is a nice guy and if he has them still maybe will give them to you. ( sorry if not helpfull).

The other option is to speak to H&S as they normally do the exhaust for these and may let you know when one is in or if they have one from another car.

Sorry its not the answer you wanted.

  11. Hi Stuno, no2 should have been, but hey, we all make mistakes 😀 The new '60 plate car is the best yet. Love being back in an ISF. This will stay for a good few years. Just need to decide what I'm doing exhaust wise. The H&S is, erm, not very neighbor friendly! Lol stevie
  12. Evening all. collected my third ISF on Thursday and thought it was about time I registered on a Forum. Often frequent PH, but would like to be involved in some ISF specific chat. Had my first taste of what ISF has to offer in the shape of a '58 Messa Red car with 16k miles back in 2012. Took the car in p/x, ran it for a few months and fell in love with just how complete a package it offered. A year later, purchased a '58 Pearl white car with 46k which I ran for two years up to 67k replacing only a set of tyres and running it through two services. I stupidly sold the car in Nov last year and hankered after another since. Looking through the usual places, I was drawn toward another early Pearl White car offered with low mileage and full history. After a little negotiations I left a deposit and headed to Cairnryan to collect what I hoped to be ISF no3. Unfortunately the car wasn't for me for one reason and another and passed on the car, leaving the owner/owners with the despot to cover their ferry costs. The hunt continued.... Realising the errors of my ways, and giving a thought to the old adage 'cars are cheap for a reason' & 'you only get what you paid for', the budget was upped by a fair margin & set my sights on a newer LSD car. I wasn't disappointed. The hunt ended with a lovely '60 mid facelift car with LSD and newer Media. I would have liked the centre tacho and LEDS, but in all honesty wouldn't spend the extra ££££ for them. Its Ultra Blue with White which is my favourite combo, has a lovely mileage (22k) and came with all the right credentials (flsh, warranty etc). Even had some nice goodies on which came as a bit of a bonus, although the H&S exhaust is WAY louder than my old Borla system. Might end up swapping that! From what I gather, it was a member car. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm 😀 Anyway, long intro. It's took me a while to register! Look forward to comparing notes and general banter. Stevie
