  1. Cos this topic is on the footie subject, what a result for Liverpool last night. Admittedly, was very down when we conceeded their goal cos knew it meant we had to get 3 to win and as we hadn't got one by half time, thought it wouldn't happen but an early goal in the 2nd half got us going. Mellor comes on and does the business quickly and then, well what can I say about Gerrard. I do hope he doesn't leave, he's by far our best all round player and one of the best in the Premiership if not the world. So we have saved ourselves in two huge games in the last few minutes!! (Mellors injury goal against Arsenal the other Sunday being the other). Just wish we could do it week in week out!! Went loopy jumping round the pub last night.....*** I love Liverpool.
  2. Like I could ever consider putting my child in this!!! It would be in for repairs more than it would be driven!!
  3. Touring car driver with F1 driver salary! Otherwise, would love to go into property development. Not on huge development scale but have enough personal funds to buy a dump or a piece of land and build a place, sell it and go on to another but turn each place around in a year so the profit is my salary!
  4. Can understand in some ways cos my wife also hates it and because of the coverage it now gets, there is rarely an evening or day there isn't a game on TV which is great for me but not for the wife. I also am 'down' when its out of season (except for the World Cup and European Cup comps). But with the other cups they do and the friendlies and international qualifiers, I usually find a game somehow.....
  5. Absolutely avid Liverpool fan... Love em and go loopy when watching the games (well sometimes, some games are very boring). But went loopy for the Mellor goal against Arsenal the other week which also happened to be my 30th birthday so double celebrations!!
  6. Oh! Never did pay attention in my science lessons!
  7. I've had this done when I had my last lot of tyres fitted. Nitrogen is not supposed to leak like air. Over time, air will seep through the walls of the tyres but nitrogen is not supposed too. This therefore keeps a consistent pressure and ultimately ensures your tyres aren't wearing too quickly. However, in my experience since having it, tyre pressure isn't consistent. It also costs you to have the nitrogen put in although the place I had mine done did say they'd refill whenever I wanted (on the theory they never need doing!!). You can add normal air to the tyre with the nitrogen in, it doesn't matter that they mix.
  8. Excellent, thanks for the advice. Will check tomorrow (now dark before I leave work so can't do today)
  9. Okay. Only thing I would say is I would guess it has to be raining for that to become the cause and both today and yesterday, we haven't had any rain (or not where I am). UNLESS the thing is blocked and therefore has stored up water and is just letting it through slowely, hence the dripping!! I just drive cars, don't tinker with them so bear with me when I say this but where exactly do I find this sunroof drain pipe and headlining? I never take anything apart in a car cos I rarely get it back again!! :duh:
  10. Driving in this morning, it was the worst its been and I'm almost 100% its coming from behind me. Almost sounds like its around the parcel shelf area. And whilst it was still a dripping sound, it was continous this morning almost at one point, it sounded like a running tap. Think I need to get one of the kids in the back seat of the car at the weekend and take a run up the motorway (don't seem to hear it when driving round town!!) and get them to try to find it. Doesn't do it when idle either!! Going Cuckoo!!!
  11. Glad someone else might be 'hearing' things although mine is literally a drip sound as opposed to sloshing. Literally like a tap that is slightly leaking but very slowely.
  12. Driving my IS recently, I can distinctively hear dripped inside the cabin. On trying to understand where its coming from, it happens when its not raining so haven't got a seal leak, I have no drinks in the car or any liquid for that matter inside the cabin or boot. The dripping sound is not consistent ie. not on every journey and when it does happen, sometimes its a few drips and others, its several. I'm completely baffled as to where its coming from. I believe its from behind me as opposed to in front but can't be sure cos I'm driving at the time so can't go anywhere to have a look. Has anyone else experienced this or am I losing my marbles?? :duh:
