  1. Yes have same issue. Never had this problem with any other car in 30 years. The road where my elderly father lives has quite a pronounced camber. Everytime he gets in the car he opens the door fully and plonks himself in the passenger seat. Shortly after, realises he can't close the door as it's jammed into the grass verge! He then has to get out, partially close the door and try again 🤣
  2. Completely agree, but even if the map was up to date it is still an inferior solution to a modern smartphone. I really dont understand why they perservere with their rubbish systems in this day and age (not just Toyota, but all mainstream cars VW, Ford etc). I'd be happy with a decent sized screen with Android Auto or CarPlay compatibility.
  3. I have a 2012 CT and did consider updating the maps but came to the conclusion that it simply is not worth the cost. My opinion (for what it's worth) would be to save your money and use Google Maps / Waze with your phone. I ended up buying a phone case from Amazon that came with a magnetic disc. This clips into the heater vent. Phone rests comfortably due to the shape of dashboard in the CT. The magnetic disc is jet black so you dont really notice it. Looks pretty good with the phone in place as it sits centrally on the dash. All in cost less than £10. It's a neat solution.
  4. thank you for the replies and advice all really useful and much appreciated
  5. good question. i’ve logged a complaint and i am expecting them to pay, but if i could pick one up for a few pounds i’d save myself the trouble (more importantly for me time) messing around with these idiots and their moronic complaints procedure.
  6. recently had a new tyre fitted and it seems the garage (you can’t get better) initially told me they forgot to put the centre wheel cap back on. i’ve since collected the cap and it turns out they’ve actually broken it (they’re the boys to trust)! any ideas where i can find a replacement in UK? all I can find on ebay seem to be located in USA.
  7. I've had my 2012 F-Sport CT200h for 2 years now. Absolutely love it. Have you considered a C-HR?
  8. Hi My driver's side windscreen washer nozzle on 2012 F-Sport (RHD) doesn't work anymore. Over a period of a few weeks, the stream became progressively weaker and now it doesn't work at all. Passenger side is fine, rear washer fine also. Doesn't appear to be any blockage in nozzle. Do you think this is an easy DIY fix or would a repair be covered by extended warranty? Thank you for any advice.
  9. 3 months now with F-Sport. Loving it. Likes -LED illumination for cup holders, utterly pointless but so cool -Black interior roof lining -Effortless driving around town Dislikes -'Ready' indicator on dashboard - ready for what? -Driving Mode resets itself to 'Normal' each time you start vehicle -Small fuel tank on longer journeys causes range anxiety
  10. Thanks for the response, it is appreciated. There is no obvious evidence of accident damage that I can see. Took the vehicle to a car wash today to see if I could reproduce the issue, but completely dry. Strange. Maybe there was a temporary blockage, preventing the water from getting away and that has now cleared - hope so? Have contacted the dealer that sold me the vehicle to make them aware and will take it in if happens again.
  11. Hi Recently bought a used 2012 CT200h F-Sport. Was really, really happy with the vehicle until today. Following the heavy rain this week, I've noticed that water seems to be entering the car on the drivers side through the inside door handle and running down the door card. The carpet is wet :( Anybody else experienced this, is it a common issue? Is it easily fixed? How likely is it that this issue would be covered under warranty? Thank you
