    Only issue I have had is with the drivers side windscreen washer nozzle stopped working. That was replaced FOC by my local lexus dealer a few years ago. Costs have been 2 sets of tyres in 80,000 miles, 1 set of brake pads and discs and the annual servicing / MoT Other than that nothing to report. Everything works as it should.

    Is it still possible to buy these extended warranties? The terms are much better than the Lexus Relax version.

    Nowadays the exhaust should last the lifetime of the vehicle. Have any members replaced their exhaust due to old age?

    If it is steam coming from the exhaust then that is healthy. Exactly what you should see on a cold winter day. If it was actually smoke black smoke or white smoke like you might see at the Vatican you should book yourself into dealer. That is not good. E10 fuel shouldn’t make any difference, I certainly haven’t noticed that.

    Mad prices today. Unbelievable really. 5 years ago I paid £12k for my 5 year old F-Sport with 21,000 miles. I thought it was expensive at the time!

    My F-Sport does this knocking sound in the winter when it’s not been used for a week or so. Sounds like a bag of spanners when it starts up. Quite disconcerting.

    I have read that the Grom Vine 2 is no longer supported. Do you know if that’s true? I would also be interested maybe not for £850, but that does seem to be a ball park figure for such installations.

    It is anything to do with the little fan in the back seat, driver side? Have you checked that out. Could sound like air rushing in when it’s running.

    Still think my 2012 CT200h F-Sport looks special, even at almost 10 years old. Although the design was much criticised at the time of introduction, it has definitely stood the test of time.

    My 2012 F-Sport still has it’s original battery, almost 10 years old now. Yay for Yuasa.

    My 2012 CT200h F-Sport is making a buzzing sound from the glovebox. Have pulled out the air filter thing from inside glovebox, had some leaves and other bits which I’ve removed. Unfortunately it’s still buzzing. Could the fan motor be at risk of imminent failure? Anyone know if this will be covered by the extended warranty?

    What did you use to buff up the headlights? Noticed they looked really clear.

    This is the best colour for CT200h IMHO.

    Not that I know of. My advice would be don't bother, save your money (or buy a shiny new phone instead) and use Google Maps / Waze.

    Pre-lockdown I was doing 100 mile per day commute in my 2012 Ct200h F-Sport. Most of this is on congested motorways (stop / start traffic) and with the CVT gearbox it is great and the driving position is super comfortable for me. The heated drivers seat is a nice place to be even in a standstill on the M6 at 7am on a dark winter morning. It does have a bit of 'poke' in Sport mode, but it's definitely not a fast car 🙂. It definitely looks faster than it is in F-Sport trim. My opinion is that, for the money the Ct200h is hard to beat. But of course it all depends what you are looking for and what works best for you.

    I have 2012 F-Sport with premium audio. The sound quality is actually very good in my opinion.

    Recently fitted 4 x Avon WV7 snow tyres to my CT as I was planning spending some extended time in the French Alps this winter. Definitely a quieter and more comfortable ride than the stock Yokohamas, but feels a bit 'squidgy' in the bends if that makes sense.
