Hello, Just seen that Lexus Stockport is sponsoring the local Didsbury (Manchester) car show on the 14th July 10.30-4PM. What's exciting is that they are also bringing along the LFA! This would be a great opportunity to make a meet of it and if we bring our 'F's like previous meets we get to shine and show off our motors. Apart from it being a great show (I've been visiting it the last few years) is that its free to attend with your car but you do need to register (link is here) Who is up for it? 😉

Wasnt just the pedestrians that ruined it although the crowd did want a redo! Cant belive some Bentley (a Mulsanne??) decided to come at you try and play chicken with Cezar! (in the video below).... managed to grab a few of the 'spirited' exits on caught by the public on camera the of 'F'ers who attended! Not a bad day - good seeing you all! Thanks @Northern isf! Looks like the Lexus Owners Club group is now on the scitp site after approval. Also added in the RCF for @CezarB. @Cezar B @northerndan + ‘Instagram friend’ be good to have you join us, make sure when selecting the ticket you select ‘Lexus owners club.’ It’s now up to 740 sportscars now and it’s looking like a sunny Sunday ☀️

If we can get more than two of us coming we can have a small group and all pitch up together but we need to arrive together to get the same spot. NorthernISF and myself have agreed to meet in glasshoughton at 9.30 for a 10am arrival, if your up for joining us, or we can meet nearer the venue if it’s easier. Does someone have a marquee and some Lexus owners club signage? If so we can officially spread the word of our forum and F club and keep resale values high! The event organizers encourage this, but really there should be more than two of us! Come and join us!

The latest count is 649 cars with tickets. Who’s going to make it 650? 🚗🚗🚙🚙🚗🚙🚙🚗🚗🏎🚘 For anyone else interested attending as a visitor you can just turn up and buy tickets on the day or you can do so in advance via the www.newbyhall.co.uk website (not on commission)! There is still a little more time to register your interest if you want to bring you motor along and be stood in a field on Sunday 5th with me and Northern ISF! Let’s do it! Already registered and booked yesterday. Cant believe there has been no F presence there before especially seeing the number of cars there (541) at last count with paid for tickets. Having two ISFs sounds like a plan. Wonder if we can we get any other ‘F’ers to join us?

Hello fellow Lexus (Lexi!) owners, Ive been lurking on here for a while and finally felt the need to type and at least say hello.....so....hello! A bit about my Lexus history. I'm on my third Lexus IS....started with an 08' 220d falling in love with the look and quality of the car (not the manual gearing though), after selling that one to buy an RX-8 and Smart, i realised i missed the Lexus. After two years had passed i needed to scratch the itch and went for a fully loaded red mica IS 250 SE-L and drive it still love it, but as of a month ago I am the proud owner of my black '08 IS-F and wow...what an engine and that gear change. Ive also never seen a car drink petrol that quickly, and i still have the RX-8 - but it is a V8 and i may have a heavy right foot! Thank you for reading and I look forward in typing to you, possibly meeting you at the anniversary event in the future. Ian
