  1. Just been informed from Lexion Automotive that my product has the wireless AA integrated in the main box so Android Auto will be wireless. Apple car play is also wireless. It comes with a 2 year warranty and the product will be set up in English as default for me... So far so good! Will keep you updated.
  2. Thank you! I am getting ready to do this myself too! I reckon this parcel will arrive mid Jan 23 and I will have to find the right time to get this job done without being disturbed by any of my family members...
  3. Thanks. I checked this one too but it appears to be keeping the screen as is with the existing model. The Lexion provides you with a touch screen and a wider one too... I will let you know what I think of this model for sure.
  4. It claims to be better than Ebay and Aliexpress as it has faster and better quality processor with good amount of RAM. This video was made 2 years ago but worth checking out I think - as it is what made me buy this product overall as their website seems to be specialised just for Lexus cars... https://www.lexionautomotive.com
  5. By the way, I just ordered this Lexion infotainment system so will let you know what it is like once it is installed. I have been watching quite a lot of videos about disassembling the parts in the vehicle and I think I may be able to do this myself. Will keep you updated if you are interested how the system is... It is probably a daring move but worth a try! It comes with a 10.25 inch touch screen and the system will still work with the OEM set up navigation. 6. Hi everyone, I have found a website (Korean) that seems to specialise building Android Auto/Apple CarPlay sat nav for a good number of Lexus cars. I have not tried the product but will be checking further before potentially buying this. Here is the product: https://www.lexionautomotive.com/product-page/lexion-a10-lxs-nx Their YouTube video how this is installed:
  7. I have this issue recently since the snow and cold weather. I had my wipers changed at Lexus so they are OEM about 2 months ago but I would say they are new but I wonder with the ice on the windscreen if they have been somehow damaged or slightly out of shape. I do not know. but I intend to visit Lexus after Christmas to have them checked just to be sure. Also, I did buy Bosch ones from Halford before Lexus got involved but realised that the whole system with the arm is made higher quality than the Bosch part (excluding the blade) so I did not want to use Bosch for this reason and visited Lexus and it is quite unique as I saw the staff fitting them with 2 long rubbers on the end of the arm. Not something I feel comfortable doing myself to be frank.
  8. This is true, I remember this feature now. Thanks for reminding us. I have the ES too and I can set the cruise control from 20mph so I am wondering if this could be so for the NX even though it was set from 30mph. I imagine this to be a reprogramming to be set up by Lexus team?
  9. I completely agree and you could easily do 25mph without realising - it is absolute madness and on wide and straight roads, you cannot stay on 20mph - it feels you are driving a vehicle that has a flat wheel or something. They claim it is to make London safer and less polluting but it is creating more traffic, more frustrated drivers, less concentrated drivers with eyes on the odometer or falling 'asleep' on the wheel. Cops surely know this but they are milking this opportunity to make additional incomes rather than catching the real criminals... We can easily dispute this change - but with the current Mayor Khan, he is doing everything possible to reduce the enjoyment driving in London. Lots of wide roads that had 2 or 3 lanes have been reduced with one lane, which is the case from Hyde Park Corner to Marble Arch (absolutely insane - now daily gridlocks are happening on the round about of Hyde Park Corner. If you drive to Regent street, you can no longer overtake the bus when it stops at bus stops because they built pavements in middle lane to prevent overtaking. the worst bit is that they also remove one lane to make it just for the cyclist and they put safety bars obliging cars to stay on the main lane. Driving in London has become impossible and in my view is killing businesses too because of the Congestion Charge and ULEZ. Sad - it never used to be like this...

Amazing choice. Are you pleased with the LS? Some say that the ES was 70% LS driving capabilities. I must admit the interior of the LS is truly a work of Art. I have seen a recent video from a Youtuber who dislike the 2018 LS mainly because engine noise is transmitted via speakers and is fake. If true, I wonder why they did this. There is no need as I would have thought the silence is what most of us would want with the LS...
  11. Hi everyone, Probably a boring question but as I live in London, they have now changed speed limits from 30mph to 20mph to many London roads and in particular within Westminster area. It is so annoying because I have seen cops on foot with speed cameras trying to catch motorists speeding above 20mph on large and straight roads. It is appalling to be honest because driving at 20mph feels like we are no longer driving - cyclists are overtaking cars even. Who ever implemented this policy truly hates cars. I also am convinced that it is now more dangerous to drive 20mph as we have to constantly watch the odometer and our attention on the road is no longer present... Sad times really. I feel sorry for anyone who has a sports car nowadays driving in London. But I am curious if my question could be answered from topic line...
  12. I have done lots of research and it seems that 1 - hardly anyone does the retrofit due to inconsistent quality with the subsitute sat nav offered on the market (mainly Ebay, and AliExpress) 2 - installing a retrofit will void Lexus Warranty from what I understand... It is a shame that this simple need cannot be done without risking quality and warranty...
  13. Dear everyone, I thought I would reach out to this community and check if you know any specialist in London or near London who would be willing to attend at my home address and install an upgrade with Android Auto/Car Play (wireless preferably) to our NX 300h (luxury 2017) It has the small screen with Navigation but having the Android Auto would be ideal as I have it on my ES300h and it is simply brilliant... Hoping you can assist with some good recommendations! Thanks!
  14. Interesting finding. I find this odd that the car does not have the same tank size as GS in my opinion. But it is clearly noticed since having the ES I visit petrol station a lot less than my predecessor GS...
  15. I agree with your finding and I am glad you like my review. I find that Lexus (and like any Japanese cars) is really working hard to maintain the reliability that many truly treasure. The fact that I had this opportunity to try a new BMW car for 2 weeks made me feel I have made the best decision to stick with Lexus. The brand is superb and I love its vision to be bold and different.
  16. I agree with you but, I don't really use it that much to be fair as the car has got tinted windows in the rear as part of the factory fitting.
  17. Thanks. In the Mk 4 you have to select temperature to see it in the middle cluster. Usually I used to leave the images with Battery, wheel and engine so that I know what is happening with my driving so when you have this on display the temperature is not showing. It was a bit annoying but you get used to it. The ES has got it at the top of the cluster with the clock so whatever you want to check with the system or data, the clock and temperature remain constantly visible...
  18. It did not occur to mention this! But yes the turning with GS was a bit tighter than the ES but not to the point you feel you struggle to drive and manoeuvre the ES. The ES is a longer car than the GS but it is well equipped with its radars and rear camera so I have absolutely no complaint to make. If you have the rear sunshade on, it will bring it down when you reverse the car automatically for better viewing. This shows little attention to details is spot on...
  19. Not surprised to hear such horror and many BMW owners experienced the same thing... BMW always kept a blind eye when this should have been a recall in my opinion.
