  1. Great, normally works but some of the bigger Speed humps around now are at such an angle that almost nothing works
  2. Actually there is a school of thought that accelerating VERY GENTLY over the speed hump will smooth out your journey. The most important thing is to brake to a speed appropriate to the size/shape of the speed hump BEFORE the hump then tickle to accelerator gently as you go up over it. It also helps if you approach at a slight angle so one wheel meets the hump first. If you are getting air loss then this clearly indicates excessive speed causing shock
  3. Hi Muhammad, There are several, the cheapest is via ebay for the shield, get it fitted locally by a friendly garage. I have just had an official CatLoc fitted to my CT by my local Lexus dealer for £240 inc VAT. Not the cheapest but it had to go in anyway.
  4. Hi, Guys and Gals, I think this subject is being slightly taken out of context. Yes we are having Cats stolen off Lexus, but any modern Petrol Car is vulnerable, BMW, Merc. Range Rovers, Fords etc. are all loosing them. so changing Marques is not really going to help. Hybrids were targetted first because the Scrotes were originally of the opinion Hybrid Cats would be worth more. Great shame but we can only be vigilent and fit Anti-Theft devices. Enjoy your Lexus!
  5. Hi, a simple way is to take out the dipstick, wipe it clean then dip the oil, when you remove the dipstick, very slowly wipe down the dipstick from the top with a piece of kitchen roll and you will immediately tell where the oil level is as the kitchen roll will become wet with oil.
  6. I was simply pointing out that CA was correct and there really is no difference between charging the Aux Battery via the connections under the bonnet and Lexus "Jump Starting"
  7. Hi both, think there is some confusion here. It is perfectly permissable to charge the Aux Battery in-situ via the connections under the bonnet as per instructions in the Owners Handbook. Lexus term of "Jump Start connections" is totally misleading as connecting via these "Jump Start Connections" does simply put you remotely to the Aux Battery. As the vehicle engine starts from the Main Battery, there really is no such thing as "Jump Starting it. Hope this helps,
  8. Many thanks, obvious now you point it out. just vague hope that they had developed a simple method of Continental Driving adjustment
  9. Hi, Anyone have any idea what the attached photos show? They are on a 2018 Luxury and can't find anything in the manuals or internet Thanks Jim
  10. Not sure but it was fitted to the 2017/18 facelifted one
