  1. Yep same with me on iPhone 11 on latest iOS 17 . Mine is 2016 is300h with nav .
  2. Good luck with it.nice work on the exchange. I have same conundrum and went with a vw tiguan as 2nd car (R-line) collect tomorrow but will likely need to sacrifice the is300h longer term , hard to let go.
  3. I bought these from https://www.oponeo.ie/ for my 2016 IS300H FSport which matched originals. Bridgestone Turanza T005 DriveGuard 225/40R18 92 Y RUN ON FLAT XL, FR Quantity: 2 x 104,00 EUR Bridgestone Turanza T005 255/35R18 94 Y XL, FR Quantity: 2 x 134,00 EUR No complaints on them - have had them on 6 months and no issues with performance but less usage due to lock down - up front I'm no tyre expert. I had them fitted by Toyota/Lexus main dealer in Dublin. I called a few other places and wasn't confident they had right equipment for balancing/tracking. Dealer was more open to doing it as they didn't have tyres in stock during my service. Long story but when they fitted tyres, they damaged 3 alloys so ended up having getting the alloys refurbed due to their mistake. I paid for the 4th one myself. Keep a photo before and after of your rims to be safe. PS: - the "rim" protectors on the tyres are no match for a curb - my newly refurbished and shiny alloys got destroyed within 6 weeks.....not by me.
  4. Sorry to hear that - hopefully it will show up undamaged.
  5. Looks great! How was the paintwork before you got the coating done? Did it need any work before the coating?
  6. It’s under the radio , see screenshot. The door opens and you can access the sd card slot.
  7. I didn't notice any obvious improvements to my infotainment experience by updating - there was no amazing feature or UI update that made me want to use it more beyond standard features like connecting Bluetooth devices using radio etc. I don't use local MP3 files so cant comment on that issue. I looked for change log from Lexus on the specific updates but dont see any for the premium nav updates - https://www.lexus-tech.eu/Navigation/base. You might have better luck. In any case, updating the nav is a little like putting lipstick on a pig 😉
  8. The exact card I bought is no longer available on ebay, but there are other sellers if you search for "Lexus Toyota Premium Micro SD 13mm Card Sat Nav EUROPE LATEST MAP 2018 - 2019". This is for the "Premium" nav that is in my IS300h F Sport. You may need a different card if yours in not the premium one. Check here to see which one you have. https://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/Coverage/Index. Once you get the SD card, it's pretty straight forward. Disconnect all bluetooth devices paired with car. Do not use while updating the audio and navigation systems. Do not turn the car off until the update is complete !!! 1. Car is stopped. Ignition is OFF. 2. Insert new micro SD in slot (after removing old micro SD) 3. Swith ON ignition. 4. Update will start automatically. 5. Some messages will come up, do not do any action, just relax and wait. 6. After the upgrade, turn off Ignition of the car. Wait about 1-2 minutes and "Start" again. 7. Enjoy I would reiterate that there are better nav solutions out there on your phone. I have my phone mounted on the right hand side vent and I use Google Maps. I got the update and I dont think I've used the Lexus nav once successfully since. I'm in ireland and when I used it locally it was sending me insane routes.
  9. I bought an updated microsd card on eBay ( 2016 is300h) and it worked no problem. Issue is that google maps(or Waze) is much more efficient and user friendly than the Lexus sat nav. I personally never use it so it was a waste for me.
  10. I don’t use the built in Nav as it is slow to start and difficult to use for short commutes in traffic. Google maps/Waze on a phone is faster with accurate traffic info when commuting. For long journeys where time isn’t an issue, the built in is acceptable.
  11. Not quite what you were asking but after quite a bit of research I settled on this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07L92L76X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have it fitted in my IS300h on the vent to the right hand side of the wheel. I have an iphone 8 plus and put magnet towwards the bottom of the back of the phone. It holds securely and exactly where I want it. Even enough room to rotate if needed.
