    ALAW, I've also looked at this, having looked at several articles and the car care nut & The Fuel Reviewer (YouTube) petrol cleaner/additives is not needed, instead, use premium fuel whenever you can with as little ethanol in as possible. My preferences are as follows... ETH means ethanol 1 Esso E10 6% eth, E5 0% 2 BP E10 5% eth, E5 0% 3 Shell E10 7.5% eth, E5 2.5% eth. 4 Gulf E10 2.5% eth, E5 0% eth Just use premium fuel as often as you can (every fill-up or maybe once in 3 fillups) MOT

    Hi Andy B, thanks for your reply. I've checked and I can run android auto (wired) from either USB port. Guess I'll have to see what happens when the adapter arrives. I'm hoping it just charges it and leaves the wireless connection running.

    If you are using a aawireless adapter, what happens when you plug in a charging cable? Will it continue to work wirelessly or does it reconnect to android auto using cable connectivity?

    Having problems with the navigation screen showing traffic and incidents etc (amber and red lines on roads indicating traffic conditions) Sometimes it just works, more often, it doesn't and I have to connect to the weather system in order to get the system working with online services. Sometimes when I connect to weather, it says, not connected to lexus online, do you want to connect? So, the head unit isn't consistently connecting to lexus online services. It all seems a bit flaky... Any ideas folks?

    Cleaned wipers with alcohol wipes, cleaned screen with proper cleaner, almost like new 👍

    Hi folks, need some front wiper blades. Does anyone recommend any particular blades? (They look easy to fit) Or is it just best to get them fitted by Lexus?

    Saga have proven themselves to be brilliant when it actually matters. They were outstanding when an idiot ran into my Mrs Corsa. I've just bought my company car UX F-Sport and got a brilliant deal from Saga.

    It's the plastic trim that's scratching, think scratches can be removed using a heat gun, I'll ask some detailers.... Also looking for seat belt buckle cover, as I think those are causing the scratches

    I did 90k miles in a C Class Merc, and 70k in a BMW 320 over 4 years and the interior in both still looked new. 3 years and 27k miles in the UX and it looks knackered... This is why I'm asking if this is normal on the UX, I've not seen this before

    Hi folks, my 250h F-Sport will be 3 years old next month. I've really tried to look after it, but there are scuff marks on the plastic door trim, presumably caused by the seat belt. Also noticed the gear knob is just starting to show signs of wear. I've only done 27000 miles, and wondered, Is this normal? Does anyone else have this wear? Should I mention this to Lexus? Any feedback appreciated

    Has anyone managed to get Android Auto configured on a 2019 model? If so, how much did it cost? Is there a gizmo you can use to connect your phone to the display without a cable? I'm looking at android auto as I'm guessing it will be far cheaper than paying for map updates! Thanks

    Forced the screw out with 2 flathead screwdrivers. Cleaned the filter. Didn't need to screw cover back in as it's a nice tight fit, and means it's easy to service the next time 👍

    Hi folks, I was going to clean my hybrid battery filter under the back seat, but... I can't remove the plastic screw, it turns, but doesn't actually unscrew, it just turns... Any ideas on how to get the cover off? Thanks

    For the first time ever, I'm seeing the security Indicator light flashing on the dash. Please see attached picture It goes out after I start the car. Manual says this is normal and simply indicates car is licked but I've never seen this before. I've tried turning internal intrusion alarm (overhead on and off but this makes no difference) Any ideas?

    I hit a huge pothole which caused my tps system to alert me. After checking the tyre, I carried on driving for 40+ miles until I got to a Kwik fit depot who replaced the tyre. Imagine if this happened on a busy motorway, in pouring rain! Can't imagine not having runflats now as they offer fantastic safety.

    My Mrs Vauxhall Corsa DAB radio cuts out once on the way to work (20 miles) My 2019 UX250h F-Sport drops out at least 15-20 times, often near houses/buildings. Lexus said there is nothing wrong with it, there clearly is

    I've had my UX250h for over a year, I've done 13k miles. I get another 3-5 more mpg in the summer.

    All, on my android phone, from my hotspot, I enable Bluetooth tethering. The car connects automatically to the phone using Bluetooth and has full internet access. No need to login to the WiFi hotspot

    Went to the Lexus garage, sat in another UX, it makes the same noise... Conclusion, the radio was switched off, whereas it's always on, so possibly this is the first time I've heard this! Oh well, at least it's ok 👍
