  1. The ML system is very good the weakest part is the speakers. If you swapped out all the speakers it would sound a million times better.
  2. Lots of options TBH depends how much you want to spend / power your after. Exhaust Intake LSD 3.76 gears throttle controller supercharger cams & valves headers nitrous Daizen sway bars piggy back or ECU short block, long block, head ported. opened up to 4.7, 5.0 or 5.2 custom twin turbo If you going over 450 hp then you would want forged internals rods pistons and atleast a cooler on the transmission. Without a doubt suspension needs to be sorted so coilovers and the best mod imo BBK being able to break late is awesome.
  3. I dont think you mean auto headlights as Im guessing thats the same as my SC430 in that you have to select it from the stalk. You probs mean DRL daytime running lights? If so thats a dealer option under the C-BEST settings. You need to goto a dealer and they can turn it off.
  4. hahaha 90% of Lexi owners must live in Surrey :)
  5. just round the corner from Sutton train station
  6. With regards to the suspension and harsh ride the best mod is to put some real tires on (the ones with air inside) the difference is like night and day.
  7. I never had a boot spoiler originally, so getting the roof spoiler would really need the boot done as well IMO. I always was on the fence about the wings myself. But I figured if im gonna do the other Behrman bits might as well finish it off. Plus I cant imagine they sell in any great quantity so probs wont be long before they get discontinued. Now or never :) TBH ive not attempted to close the roof yet. But the spoiler bit would sit underneath everything when the roof goes in, so would not take up any space. I want to make sure the paint is fully of, so will leave it for a week. hahaha she should be smiling with all her new presents :) That turned out the best IMO was really happy with the front end look. TBH the old grill was looking a bit ropey.
  8. Just got back from the body shop, car was a bit dirty from sitting in the shop for a couple of weeks. Too cold to wash her, December in England :( Blitz front grill + de chromed top piece Behrman Roof Spoiler Berhman boot spoiler And Berhman front wings with LED's Fit on the wings was not 100% so required a fair bit of prep to get right. But im pretty happy with the end result
  9. The LED taillights are easy to do, but you will get a light out indicator on the dash unless you also buy the ECU which I did but was about $200 for the ecu from the states. But looks a million times better.
  10. Well the IF-A is supposed to be around £100K which put it in Ferrari Lambo territory. Although it could be that the new gen. SC shares very similiar lines to the IF-A and should be in the £50-£60K range. Surely that would hurt sales of their super car.
  11. Well im really happy with mine, but then Ive also done alot to mine. Anyway considering the current market and the amount of depreciation on mine over the last 6 years + I hardly use it. I will keep mine forever. Although maybe you might consider the new SC (if it does happen) http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=55258
  12. Im not feeling it too much, kinda looks like a 6 series IMO http://www.topspeed.com/cars/lexus/2010-le...sc-ar53738.html
  13. Haha yep do, im not the most road observant.. my first reaction when someone hoots is wft did I cut you up :winky: Will keep an eye out!
  14. Certainly impressed me http://video.kenblockracing.com/flash/smal...&autoplay=0
  15. Im a registrar and trade in domain names, although thats one from my personal collection. One of the things I do is I run a domain back ordering service at http://www.caught.co.uk
  16. Dont be shy maybe SC post up some pics :D Hey Lizzy if your a big fan I can sell you lizzyborden.co.uk :P
  17. That had occured to me! But "on paper" it doesn't appear to be that much difference, just wondered if on the road it felt that much quicker. Guess there is only one way to find out, try 'em both. Of course the other thought is get a decent 5spd and spend some of the dosh saved, on exhausts and remap etc., to add a little more sparkle?! Anyway going to try an 2005 5spd tomorrow. Well Ive only heard its better tbh. I drive around mostly in 3rd gear makes a lovely rumble but would love to be able to change through the gears like you can in the 6 speed -/+ Let us know :)
  18. I would go with the 6 speed. Its faster :)
  19. Actually its very cheap and easy to do that. All you need do is have the rear silencer taken out and the pipes go straight through. That would achieve the same sound for about £100. What I did was have a full stainless system fitted at longlife.co.uk, sports cat and the rear box removed which was from memory about £900.
  20. This is the credit card key. Difference being valet key has transponder inside the key whilst the credit card key has the transponder inside the credit card case and not the key.
  21. When I bought my car I got two master keys and the valet key. The other key looks like a credit card ive only seen pictures of it on the net. It might be that you only get either a valet key or a credit card key depending what country your in. But yep you should get 1 valet type key. Is it not shown in your car manual?
  22. I had mine fitted at www.carradioalarms.com in Sutton surrey. But they have closed down their branch and im not sure if they have relocated elsewhere although their website is still running. It took him about 4 hours to install both roof and starter and he said he could probs do it next time in about 2 hours. You can try calling them im pretty sure it was mike or mick who did the install. Did a great job also wired up a Car PC for me on my BMW before. They specialize in Bentleys so your in safe hands.
  23. I guess you don't have the valet key. It's a little thin plastic key that only starts the car, does not open the boot, glove box, console etc but does disable the imobiliser. There's also another key that looks like a credit card.
