  1. I'm with adrian flux too and was told they would replace like for like on parts, i do have legal expenses cover up to £50k and i have the prices for all the mods, like people have said I didnt get asked to be hit by someone and as far as i'm concered they should pay out the insured value so i'll be turning down any offer until they come up with 1 that is satisfactory, (so far the mods come to £2481 for the HKS suspension and the wheels centre caps and wheelnuts)
  2. My insurance does, in the event of an accident they would replace like for like! dont know if they would do the same if its written off..........I think it might just be! Just got my hire car too, an 07 plate is220d, My god its smooooooooooth
  3. Speed limit on the road is 50mph, A couple stopped and gave me their details because they said he had over taken them driving like a manic so i have passed their details to the police, hopefully he'll get whats coming to him!!! (probably not the right attitude to have really) There were no street lights on the road either and his excuse was "I came round the bend saw all these lights and didn't know what was going on", Went back to the site of the accident in daylight and there are no skid marks on the road so either he's not been paying attention showing off to his mates or he's been going that fast he hasn't had time to react. He did hit me on the back corner so it did push me off the raod through a small wall and up a verge. Feeling worse today too got some back and chest pain think i'll go to the doctors again. as you can see he hit me hard enough to break a wheel, the bit missing ended up about 10 meters further down the road This is the golf that hit me doesn't look too bad until you realise that the wheel is pushed to the back of the wheelarch and until you look at the fold in the rear quarter. this is the damage caused when he bounced onto the other side of the road and hit the other car. spoke to my insurance company and they have said that they will repair mine to which i replied when you send your assesor(sp?) out I think he'll decide its not worth repairing because its bent in the middle to which the reply was "oh" I think to be honest they just have to say that because of procedure though, needless to say i'll be going for the insured value plus the cost of thee HKS suspension and 18" wheels.
  4. I'm really really glad that there was no one in the back they would have been crushed, the golf bounced off onto the other side of the road where he hit someone else
  5. Judging by the cleanliness of the car that hit me, i think he had not long picked it up from the dealer, either that or he is super anal about cleaning his car, i think he was showing off to his 3 mates he had in the car with him, been back to the scene of the accident this morning and there is not even a sign that he slammed the brakes on. (even with abs there would be some skid marks).
  6. Well last night at about 22.10 someone in a 57 plate golf gti edition 30 decided to end my love affair with my lexus and rear ended me at about 80mph whilst I was stationary The whole car is bent in the middle and the driver of the golf managed to hit another car on the other side of the road too. The police had to close the road!!!!! Oh and my neck is really really hurting (been to hospital already) Watch this space for some bits for sale!
  7. Would love to go but as you have seen i'm kind of lexusless
  8. 200 quid excess think i'm going to go for that quote to be honest that isif a plan cant do any better
  9. Just got a quote from adrian flux, details as above - £484, Sorry but thats a massive difference
  10. Just got my insurance renewal from A Plan, I was a bit taken aback to say the least its £100 more than last year even though i have an extra years NCB, phoned them to confirm it was right, to be told yes its because of an extra premium when you fitted the supercharger. Funnily enough the guy didnt have anything to say when i told him i paid it last year and it was still cheaper. So anyone on here got a decent quote with mods from anyone other than A Plan A Plan want £928, (27yrs old, 4 years NCB, Mods listed below.)
  11. You should see her sister, If you think sammys fit oooooohhh
  12. Sorry Stav but Sammy Winward is from Bolton

  14. 8x18's with a 45 offset and 225/40/18 eagle f1 gsd3's all around again (just love these tyres one of the best i've used)
  15. I dont see why the volks wouldnt fit check out neweraparts.com they have the full range of sizes and fitments they seem to have 18's and 19's that would fit.
  16. I wish i could afford a set of volk's alas no they weren't they were a set of inovit st iv's, basically a copy of the volks
  17. The old pic is from when i has different coilovers on which were way too low to drive on (looked good though) i agree though the rear end does need to be dropped a bit
  18. Finally got my new wheels fitted yesterday what do you think Are they an improvement on
  19. Taking the coilovers off will proably me easy, it putting the standard stuff back on that will be hard, removing them is basically take off the 3 nuts at the top the undo the big one at the bottom of the strut, you will need a ball joint splitter to do the fronts though, oh and some spring compressors of the standard springs!!!
  20. I think he means they can do a N/A auto but not F/I, if thats the case it would be interesting to find out why not like you say bazza
  21. Hopefully we won't have a monsoon this year, sleeping in a puddle wasnt fun
