Well got my HKS hiper for my is200 yesterday :D (thank you wosket), Got it fitted as soon as i got it and wow haven't stopped smiling yet, it looks and sounds awesome, whats more rang a plan to tell them about the modifications and they didnt put my insurance at all winner. Sorry I just thought I would share that with everyone.

well got my insurance renewal notice from elephant today they wanted £826 , quick call to Rob at A Plan and got a quote of £599, :D needless to say i was impressed.

i agree the standard of driving seems to have deteriorated recently it seems that there is no such thing as lane discipline on motorways either, on my way to blackpool the other week loads of people in the middle lane doing about 50 when there was noone in the inside lane, me in the outside lane three different people decided to pull out in front of me for no reason and stay at about 50 not even attempting to overtake anyone.

You can buy copper grease from halfords it usually around the brake pads for a couple of quid if the pads are worn out there is usually a contuinuous screeching noise when driving to warn you that they are on the way out hope that helps. You cant actually see the pads through the top of the caliper (i just checked on mine) however if you take the wheel off you get a reasonable idea from the side.

i am insured with elephant and i strongly advise you stay away from them or any part of the admiral group as an insurance company. As for modifications i think its pretty standard to not cover the cost of the modifications.

thing is it wasn't bought from lexus bolton, in fact it wasn't bought from a lexus dealer at all the only reason i took it to lexus was to get the err3 problem with the stereo fixed.
