  1. Thanks, appreciate that!
  2. Yes I luckily do know that and apologies for the misunderstanding. So halfords tested the battery and said its fine so now I'm back to square one again.
  3. The battery in the boot has been changed with a new one from lexus 2 months ago. This is the 12V battery. When you said Auxiliary battery I thought you was referring to another battery.
  4. OK thanks for that. I'll go to kwikfit or halfords now! Also just to clarify, are referring to another battery apart from the 12V one in the boot of the car?
  5. Ah I see, I did use a multimeter as that's all I have! Where can I get it tested properly? Also any idea where the auxiliary battery is located as I'll just get a new one from lexus as its never been changed!
  6. OK so I just checked the battery and all is perfect with it. Anything else that can cause this?
  7. Thanks for the response, I will check my battery to make sure its healthy. But its only been replaced with a genuine lexus one no more than 2 months ago!
  8. I guess I'm the only unlucky one with this issue.
  9. You will not go wrong with the denso blades! This is actually what the Lexus dealers use.
  10. Hey guys, Can someone please advise what the error C1241 under ABS is. Error description is low or high power supply voltage. Any idea what's causing this error? Many thanks guys.
  11. I know but it would have been nice to know if the problem was sorted and what caused it!
  12. Thank you for all the input guys, I ended up taking it to lexus and it's straight as an arrow now!
  13. Thanks for the response, I'm going back at 1pm and I'll ask him to reset the steering position.
  14. Did you manage to sort yours out. I'm losing my cool with this.
  15. I may have to take it to the dealer to do then. I actually took it to a specialist that is well known in the car scene too as before it was in a tyre shop that tried to get it done! Thanks for the advice.
  16. Hi guys, I hope someone can give me some advice please. I'm having a real hard time getting my GS450H aligned. It comes of the ramp with everything on spec but the moment I drive off the steering has to be held slightly to the right for the car to go straight! Can the camber on this car be adjusted as I know with this I can get it right! Where are the bolts located to adjust camber please. Has anyone else had issues getting their GS450H aligned? My car so far has had 4 brand new tyres and I've had 3 different places now check the suspension components for wear but they all advise its perfect. Thanks in advance guys.
  17. Thanks for the quick reply, im installing a dash cam on my 2007 GS450h and the cam also has an option to be powered with an OBD cable as long as the vehicle has a permanent live 12V when ignition is off! I need this for the cams advanced parking mode for motion and impact detection, but a permanent 12V is required. Do you think I will be ok? Sorry I know this is an old thread but I wanted to ask.... does the obd port have a permanent live 12V. I want to power a dash cam using the obd port!

  19. Hi guys, I hope someone can advise on this issue that's doing my head in! I changed the rear tyres on my GS450h and got all 4 wheels aligned (I know but this is something I always do when ever I change tyres on an axle whether it be 2 or all 4 tyres) the tracking was perfect and after about a month of driving the tracking went out. I have to hold the steering wheel to the right in order to go straight as the car will turn left. I have not hit any potholes or gone over speedhumps fast or curb my car so this was strange to me. I went back to the garage and upon checking, the alignment was out! They have attempted 4 times to do the alignment and every time I leave on green on the hunter alignment system but as soon I come back because of the same problem the nearside front tyre toe is out. there is no play on any of the components from all the checks carried out by the tyre shop and I also went to another garage for a second opinion incase there is play somewhere that could cause this but they also could not find any problems. The calipers have been checked incase they are binding and all is great. the tyre pressure is also the same so that's also out of the equation. Can someone advise on the correct way to track a 2007 GS450h or check something that has been missed from what I have mentioned. Many thanks in advance

  21. Many thanks for all the input guys! I am really glad we have such a good community on this forum. I guess everything is fine and I'm being paranoid.
  22. Ah that's a very good point. It might be that during really cold weather!
  23. Thanks for the input but unfortunately its very different to what I'm facing! My battery has more than enough charge but the petrol engine stays on.
