  1. Would be worth visiting Prolex's site first. (if not using IE, this link will get you past the front page (I thought you were going to have a word with your web designer, Prolex?)
  2. That LS wagon's not as big as I'd imagine. I reckon the back end of an LS wagon (LS430 Sportcross anyone?) would be more like that of a Volvo estate (in other words, cavernous). I still wouldn't be able to afford one though!
  3. Mine comes from the Xbox scene (you'll find me on the forums over at www.xbox-scene.com as well). If you've got the Xbox lid upside down it spells XOBX. Or as I pronounce it, eXOBeX.
  4. Why not mod the car and add a set of special reversing lights to go with your warrant card? Knocked one of these up for a copper mate (the one who bought my old GS, funnily enough)...
  5. Have you flipped up the cover on the sun-visor mirror yet? While you're there, have you noticed the little mini sun-visor to cover the bit behind the mirror? Have you opened the back doors and noticed that only the courtesy light on that side comes on? Let's face it, a Lexus ain't just an executive car, it's an executive toy! Why not get a "flat" key cut? I take it you only really want a spare in case you lock the other one inside?
  6. There's no such thing. Looks like a poor man's Jag.
  7. Can it not be repaired? Might be worth trying a scrapyard (tell them you want the harness IN ONE PIECE!) You'll get one off any RHD LS400 made between August 92 and October 94. Not the LHD ones though (according to the EPC anyway), they have a different part number. Not off any other Lexus or Toyota, either - not even a Celsior. Gotta be an LS400. If you're desperate you can get 84306-50040 from any RHD LS400 made between December 89 and August 92, this was superseded by (and AFAIK can be replaced with) the 50090.
  8. Probably just a visual inspection and interrogation of the airbags' ECU (was digging around in my old GS, found a panel under the back seat. Took it off, found an airbag diagnostics port and a warning on the panel saying "DO NOT REMOVE" - yikes! Needless to say I put the cover straight back!
  9. Doesn't state whether it's the CD one or the DVD one.
  10. As I said on the phone earlier, Ade, e-mail them to me (Lindsey knows how to do it). I'll host them at www.xboxrepair.plus.com/lexus/ade/ and e-mail you the stuff to type in here. Job done.
