Hi mate ive got the same system and it is a pain in the arse. ive found that once you have run the belt through the two base clips and locked in, pull all the belt out and run it around the rim of the base before you put the seat in and it should give you enough slack to put around the back of the seat once you are clicked in. Hope this makes sense :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh:

Its a shame you havn't got the cash mate as chris will only order in in batches of 10, and seen as im the only order he has got for 4 it isn't looking to good. Looks like i will be looking else where at a increased cost!!!!

Well ive finally given in to modding my 200, just ordered the front/back and side skirts through C Shipley and took up the excellent offer on the 18" wheels with tyres for £235 each :D :D :D Cant wait to get it sprayed and fitted. Seeing as ive got the sport and its already lowered by 15mm, will the 18" alloys look ok or would i be better going the full 30mm drop? Keeping the lip spoiler for the time been not to sure about the boot spoiler. Will get my garage soughted out and pics posted as soon as its fitted. Next mods to come hopefully if the bank balance recovers are back box/induction kit and front windows tinted. Jesus once you start you cant stop, i only ordered a gear knob and alloy tax disc holder a couple of weeks back and got some ear ache for that Wait till she finds out what ive got coming next :D :D :D Webby

My main problem at the moment is deciding on the tte or trd rear skirt. Chris S has soughted me out with quotes and theres about £50 difference between them. Seen plenty of pics with trd like yourselfs but no tte.

That doesn't sound to bad for a lexus dealer. Got to have a run out to a few places here for a few quotes so will see how they compare. Thanks for that Aido

My finer half came home last night complaining of the wiperblade been loose and needed fixing!!!!!!!!!!! So on inspection i found it had come loose and the stupid cow had used it about half a dozen times and now i have very faint but noticeable scratches on the drivers side. Is there anyway of been able to do something with these scratches or would it be easier to claim for a new windscreen through the insurance? They are not that bad its just that i know they are THERE!!!!!!!! If you run your finger over them,you cant feel anything but you can see them. Any ideas anybody? Thanks

Hi all just getting over the honeymoon period of owning my 200 sport and i am beginning to notice that when sitting at a junction ticking over that there seems to be a bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust at all times. I would expect it when cold and it been this time of year but after becoming a bit paranoid about it and looking at every other car at junctiuons it does seem to smoke alot more than others even when warm. Now not been a mechanic or anything and only ever owning 1.6cc engines before with pea shooter exhausts!!!!!!!! Is it a common thing with larger engines or do i need it to be looked at?? It is only just over 3yrs old and full lexus history and 19,000 miles!!!!! Webby

Well finally found one in strathcon blue/sport Y reg and as happy as a pig in S**t. Been driving it now for a couple of weeks and apart from the gear change from 1st to 2nd and the mpg, ive got a constant grin on me whenever im driving. The only let down is that i have to do the shopping now as she was complaining about how far away i park from the doors to the supermarket now, just so i can find my own little bit of space somewhere on the car park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi to all you proud lexus owners, Just started looking for a lexus is200se or sport and was wandering if there is any where recommended other than a lexus dealer for used 200's. Have been looking in auto trader etc but not seen much thats within a decent shortish travelling distance from my house. Have spotted a couple at the nottingham dealership but priced at £13,500 each one a sport 29,000 miles on an x plate the other an se on a y plate 30,500 miles do these seem a reasonable price? Hopefully going to have a run down and have a look at them both before friday, dont really want to be spending more than £13000 especially for an x plate but it is a sport and in strathcaron blue :P :P :P :P Thanx
