Yeah I have been using the A/C button and the windscreen demist button but once demisted, if I switch them both off it mists up again. So you’re saying I need to keep those switched on in rainy conditions? I’ve never had that happen with a car before, once demisted the screen has stayed clear with just the fan speed and heat settings, also every car I’ve had has had a setting just for the screen. The manual shows a setting for just the windscreen but doesn’t appear on the dash panel 🤔🤔

How do I change the heater setting to windscreen only? It shows windscreen and feet so to me I’m not getting all the air flow to the windscreen when steaming up, which seems to happen rapidly when it’s raining. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Going to try my ideas out on an old piece of carpet in next few days and if they work I’ll certainly share on here 👍

Hi I’m waiting for a not so cold day to have a look at it. I have a couple of possible ways of fixing it, in my head, wether they will work or not I don’t know.

Just took the door sill trim off and the carpet looks a nightmare to unclip from the sill edge😲😲🥴🥴 I need to rethink🤔🤔🤔

Been looking at them. Are the circle bits the pieces that fit in the main carpet which the hooks clip into? They are the bits which have broke on mine.

👍👍 Just had a look, cheap as chips. Found the missing one under the seat but the bit that goes into the carpet has broke.

I’ve just found that I’m missing one of the carpet hooks which the floor mats attach to. Does anyone have a spare one lying around or point me in the right direction to getting one?

Thanks for all the replies 👍 I’v got the gist of it now, but is there a way of getting to know the value of the plate before putting it on retention? If it’s worth naff all then it’s staying on, doesn’t mean anything to me but hey it’s just a plate. Personally can’t see it being worth much or the previous owner would have kept it 🤔🤔

Anyone in the know about private plate ownership. I’v recently bought my SC430 with a private plate on from a garage. The salesman said the previous owner didn’t want the reg back, SO does that make me the new owner of the plate? I don’t have any paperwork for it either Reason I ask is that private plates have never been my thing so wondered if I can legally sell it, and if so, How, with no paperwork in my name. Hope someone can shed some light. Russ
