I am gutted about the dent on my bonnet, it’s right above the strengthener on the underside, so don’t know if a dent repairer would be able to get to it🤔🤔

Anthony, I used V-tech auto sealer when I had a leak on the seal at the front which the roof closes onto. I know that seal is now stuck to the panel above the windscreen but it stopped water getting in.

How do the lenses come off to remove the bulbs? Mine seem stuck to the carpet 🤔🤔

Hi Martin Thanks for that, I might contact them sometime, but in the meantime I’m making do with my FM transmitter plugged into the fag lighter socket. It gives me what I need at the moment.

Does this only work on the facelift model? I have a 2004 pre facelift and recently contacted Grom about their Bluetooth kits as their advert said from 2005 > only. They asked for a pic of the rear plugs on my radio, so I sent one and they said the Y cables would work, so I ordered the kit. their instructions say to press the Disc button twice to display CD1 Nothing changed, so wouldn’t work on my 2004 radio. Are the pin layouts in the plugs or radio different between pre facelift and facelift?

Anthony, I also use a FM transmitter and it works fine. I can play music from my phone, iPod and memory stick and accept and make calls all through the radio. What’s the cost of having one made and fitted? I’d like a bit more of the V8 burble but unsure what parts you can discard from the original set up to pass MOT emissions 🤔🤔 I’ve just noted a slight blowing at the rear on start up lasting for a couple mins then quieten’s down. The whole lot doesn’t look the best😟😟

Neil, It’s a Uk car. But sadly finding it’s not been a loved car 😟😟 but I’ll get all the niggles sorted eventually. The Grom unit powered up but as their instructions to press the CD button to be able to use it through CD player, nothing changed and just wouldn’t work, they even talked me through it over the phone but still no joy, so I sent it back. My CD player works fine as is, so I wouldn’t have thought my player would have been the issue. I’ve bought one of the cheap Bluetooth transmitter’s which plugs in the fag lighter socket and it’s fine with my phone, memory stick and iPod. I didn’t really want anything stuck there on show, but hey, for a fraction of the cost of the Grom and it works. In my other post, I meant to say it wouldn’t work with my PRE facelift.

Anthony, I contacted Grom about the connections and sent them a picture of the connections on the back of my radio and they said it would fit. When I installed it following their instruction, it wouldn’t work. So even though the connections were the same, it wasn’t compatible with my facelift. It does look nice in white. I’m having a few issues with it but gradually sorting through them.

Does anyone know if there’s any difference in the connections on the back of the radio between the pre facelift and facelift ?? I’ve been looking at Bluetooth / iPod adapters and they state the connections are from 2005>> Mines a 2004
