  1. I have had several occasions (over 7 months, the car arrived in June) when my SatNav simply didn't recognise perfectly good address, Google maps had it for seconds. My map was recently updated at my Lexus dealership and yet, it doesn't seem to get better. Wasn't the SatNav based on Google maps? Another thing I was hoping for was to see the App sending the chosen address directly to the car. There have been two updates of the App but I do not think this has been addressed. I wonder whether it is on the table for future updates. Anyone that have had similar experience?
  2. Happy New Year! I have noticed that the last two charging cycles the battery went down from 55 miles down to 52.8. I assume it might be due to the low temperatures and that when in a few month time the weather improves the mileage would go back to 55.
  3. I got my 450h+ in June and towards the end of November I received the second fob key. Still outstanding are the wheel lock bolts (you mention nuts?). I am curious what sound system upgrade you are talking about as it was clear from the start that the Plug-in hybrid would not have the Mark Levinson option due to ......... increased weight. I am still digesting this, how several extra speakers (currently 10 vs ML - 19) can significantly increase the weight of a car that is almost two tonnes. The only niggling thing I have had so far is the loss of mobile service on more than one occasion over several days in a row. Otherwise I really enjoy the ride.
  4. This is a good point. I used to use it on my BMW 530e before but due to my e-call problem my App doesn't communicate properly with the car. I am due for recall on 22nd November at my dealrship.
  5. I had the same experience a few weeks back and since then I have not used the demist function in the morning (which is a bit daft having it and not using it, but the engine kicking in for urban drive is so unnecessary).
  6. I do not have the Lexus Recall number to answer @Hayzee's question but it seems exactly what I have been experiencing. It is random but very annoying, not to mention it could have quite dire consequences.
  7. Same here. Out of the blue. I did not update it though. Did it work in case you did update it?
  8. Hello All, Last Thursday I received a letter from my lease holder to take the car to my dealership for the particular update as per the subject line. In the last month, month and a half my mobile service, e.g. traffic information, communication with the App on my mobile, finding my car, etc. have been sporadically working. More often than not two or three days with no signal at all, then for a few hours working. I raised this with the dealership before getting the leter and whilst they saw it first hand, they did not do much about it (if anything at all). The only issue they picked up was the lack of map update so I have a booking on 22nd November to do that. I was told it usually takes 4-5 hours as it is a major software update. And then I received the letter, which is exactly what I believe, the car suffers from. When I talked to after-sale support they were very surprised as they "did not have anything" on the warranty list. I did not fully get what this meant but they will be looking for the problem and eventually rectifying it when I take the car to them in two weeks. My lease holder insists in bold lettering to have the letter signed by the dealer and send back to them once the issue is gone. Has anyone here suffered from drop of mobile service and if yes, how has this been sorted out in your case?
  9. For a few days now I have also lost the traffic information, the car doesn't "see" the cloud. I have contacted Lexus. I hope to hear back soon from them.
  10. I also encountered this on several occasions, and as one would expect (Sod's law?) at the most inconvenient instances. I would login and it would go away till..... next time with no regular intervals in between. In my case I believe it might be related to my poor reception that might be forcing the car to try numerous times to connect to the cloud/server. Is there option to get the car on my local router so when parked at home it would benefit from seamless connection?
  11. Has anyone tried to get the car on the house WiFi so when parked near the house it could reach the cloud/server? I live in a reception poor area and I suspect that server-car communications might be not ideal. On a different but related topic, how do you unlock the WiFi/Hot spot of the car? I have the service but have not used it yet.
  12. I have had this on several occasions. Lately I do not get all my journeys either, it used to be fine till recently. Also, I don't always get the car fully charged in the morning according to the App, although I know it has fully charged. This morning, the App places the car 3 miles from home when I can see it parked in front of the house. I would say at the moment the Link+ App is work in progress and is quite messed up.
  13. Mine does, but I noticed that when I open the car with the app I cannot start the engine without pushing the button on the remote.
  14. I have just downloaded it (thanks @Imgo for starting this thread) and apart from not being able to send a destination to the car's satnav everything else seems to work well. I can unlock and lock the car remotely now, something that I was not able to do with the old app. The download and installation were smooth (iPhone) and although it did not recognise my mobile on the system when I used my email and password it all came together. The only missing (for me personally) thing is the use of the map for future destinations and its transfer to the car SatNav. Hopefully it would not take long. The SatNav is another story on its own but I do not know whether there is a thread about it. On a few occasions it would take me to a dead end roads and this can be quite risky if you are under pressure and on the clock to reach a destination. I still cannot believe Lexus would not sort this out, especially when nowadays the tech in this segment has advanced a lot.
  15. Thank you very much! It should be this one. I have tried searching the Manual for battery fan filter but go zero hits.
  16. Hello, I have had my Lexus NX 450h+ for two weeks now and I am very pleased with it. I watch a lot (and respect too) an Youtuber, The Car Care Nut, who is very knowledgeable and is particularly so when it comes to Toyota and Lexus. His No. 1 advice for hybrid maintenance is to keep the high voltage battery fan filter clean to prolong the battery life, thus one might never have to replace the latter. I have been trying to identify where this filter might be on the Lexus but so far I have not had success. Has anyone tried/found it? I will very much appreciate your input.
  17. I also did email my dealer and he came back and assured me that similar to the second fob, there is a shortage of spare parts, but the locking wheel nuts (someone mentioned they are in fact bolts) will be provided and installed in due (no one says when yet) time.
  18. I could not agree more. I went for Lexus (after having a BMW 530e) not only for the car itself, but for the Lexus' reputation of providing service beyond any competitor. Have they decided it was too much and will they become like the mainstream dealership? I have been trying to contact my dealer for a few days to no avail. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, he might not be in office (although no automated response was sent back) and will give him a few more days before I take the car there.
  19. I have to admit my dealer has been extremely helpful giving me a detailed explanation at each stage. When entered the factory, when it was on the ship, when it arrived, checked by the Lexus' crews and then delivered. I cannot commend him high enough. This is, in fact, one of the reasons I decided to move to Lexus, besides the fact that it is a fantastic car.
  20. Ordered it June 2022, it was delivered this Friday (16/06/2023) in the morning. Lexus NX 450h+ Premium Plus Pack (14" etc.). My first Lexus. All I can say is, WOW! So far I have been driving the BMW 530e, what a difference how the battery and the recharging is being handled by Lexus. It drives so well..... Still getting to grip with the plethora of options but it is a lovely car, well worth the wait (of course it would have been better not to wait for year to get it but still). I wish your deliveries happen sooner than you expect.
  21. I have got an email from my dealer that my 450h+ Premium Pack Plus is on its way (the screen shot said: At Sea). ETA is mid June. I was told that they inspect each vehicle bit by bit once at shore and this can take up to a few weeks (he mentioned that a few thousand cars were usually shipped each time). Fingers crossed.
