I don't have any flyers, I have seen ALOT of IS200, that are like not in the LOC, and want to tell them to join, but I have no flyers ! Where can I get them from ?

I just came back from having a nice pub lunch in the HARROW PUB in HORNCHURCH, when I saw this parked in the car park. First thing I said was "Ouch, that must have hurt" -

Rod, that's what I really want, without drilling, but Colin is saying that it wont detect stationary objects, is that the case ? Pointless if the thing wont notice a bollard, and I accidently don't see it :D

You have got to have your sound turned UP to hear the sound of that engine, it's just ridiculous ! But I like it, can you imagine having a V8 focus in this country, that looked so un modified !, all those little boy races would pull up next to you in there done up Novas ! LOL :winky:

So what would you suggest is better ? the electro magnetic one or the ones that need to be drilled ? I'd say that if the electromagnetic ones don't recognise stationary objects, then that's pretty crap ?

Colin, Thanx mate, that's the word I was looking for "Electro-Magnetic" I'd say it's goto be better than drilling holes in the bumper, I don't think I could bring my self down to drilling holes in my LEX! I'll shop around the net later, including eBay, to find my self a cheap bargain. :duh:

Hi people, I'm thinking of putting some decent looking parking sensors on my IS200, but can't decide what to get. I don't want anything extra in the dash area, IE LCD Display, etc. I'm quite happy with just a "sound" that comes on when the reverse gear is engaged. This looks pretty cool http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...2491277972&rd=1 However, I remember seing some sensors that were actually mounted behind the bumpers, without having to drill any holes, does anyone know what I mean ? Any suggestions, pictures etc would be appreciated. - Thanks in advance.

I have the SE, Mine has full tints, (sports only have rear privacy glass) I have the metal scuff plates ...... and hey, for £200 - £250 , I can get it lowered 30mm, where as the Sport is only 15mm difference ! I like the SE ! , though I do want the SPORT grille. (soon though .... )

As for the number plates mate, that's pretty interesting, because someone else asked me about those, they can be deemed illegal, and the offence would be Registration plate : Not affixed as per regulations. Now the "regulations" can be a term that is rather wide, this can mean font, size, and even colour. But, to be honest, your usual bobby on the beat probably wouldn't know this, and if you were to get a ticket for it, it would be £30, and that would be y a traffic cop! Even I don't like those :winky:

Bison, Remember, that it is illegal , and the fine is £30. However, if you are reported on more than two (2) occasions, DVLA 'could' revoke your licence plate, and will give you back the original plate that came with the car. So that's a risk you are going to have to take !

You want one that's really faster than the law ? How's about this then ... did you know, that the Hackney Carriage Cabs, (the black cabs) Are STILL BY LAW, supposed to have a bag of hay in the back of the cabs. WHY ? Well, because when the 'hackney carriage cabs' were first about many years ago, it was a horse and cart, and the law was that a bag of hey was meant to be carried for the horse. Well, techonology has evolved, and we now have cabs, that use an engine, however, the law has still not been written off, so, black cabs now are still meant to have a bag of hay in the boot ! - How silly is that ! No hay, £30 fine ! lol

Fargo, Law says:- Whilst the vehicle is in motion, and not stationary. You are only allowed to have a screen that displays either 1) = A route guidance (sat nav) 2) = Information about the vehicle (on board computers) Anything else is not allowed to be used whilst the vehicle is moving. Whilst stationary, that's no problem, just not whilst you are moving !

As far as I know, like Colin said, it's the other car that can be fryed. All that I would suggest is that the other persons put on ALL the elctric, hazard lights, radio, wipers, and anything else that can come on ... So that when the car receives a big jump of voltage, it has somewhere to disperse it, and doesn't fry the car !
