  1. erm, the terrorists who crashed their planes into the WTC had been on the same training course. They seemed pretty competent... or are you saying that they were actually aiming for something else but they were so bad that they hit the WTC by mistake... or maybe they were FBI missiles too? or maybe it was all made by aliens at Area 51 on the same stage where they faked the moon landings? ← LOL.. there you go assuming that these guys were flying the aircraft..my friend I know from experience that training on a twin engine jet and converting to 4 engine jet .. .. is not easy.. been there..to fly with such accuracy requires a few more flying hours than they had..especially having to bank that jet and aim at the tower.. analogy with the house.. its easier for house owner to put the pieces together because they know what house should look like.. in this case those that know what went on can find it easy to hide the truth
  2. Ain't that the TRUTH Not for long, S/C on the way... I already have NOS too.. I think around Feb i should be runing total potential of 400BHP :winky: :D ← The Tezza def dont like low revs. Acts like a spoilt brat when u are in traffic or 30mph zone. Has to be in 4th gear for those crawls. Dam Mr S.. 400BHP..u making new movie called not fast enuff but still furious?? Scott has a little info about how the Tezza could get to 286BHP withouts/c or turbo oops sorry Scott..me and ma big mouth

  6. I agree with TheDon its not conclusive..As we all know how the mind of "civilised man" works..we can all make the pieces fit after the event. Test yourself on a jigsaw puzzle..which would you complete quickest? a jigsaw of my house or a jigsaw of your house.. I'll wait until I figure out how these guys could pilot a big jet after training on light aircraft....
  7. I found the Tom Tom unit to be not as good as the standard Lexus sat nav; - it is significantly slower to auto re-route if you take a wrong turn - it is not as vocal, meaning you have to pay more attention to the screen on several occasions using the Tom Tom, it did not give us vocal indications of when to take turns, which lead to us getting more and more off the route. on one occasion, it gave us a vocal indication literally exactly as we were at the junction. its a good unit - I would recommend getting one if you don't have factory sat nav, but I don't think it is as good as the standard nav I had in my IS, or currently have in my GS ← I have the iPaq with Tomtom 3 and its quick at rerouting (less than 200 yrds @30mph it will tell me I need to turn around. Never encountered any problems with vocal. When using the sat nav.. i disable all the sleep modes on iPaq to avoid any of the situations you mention Matt... Might be worth looking at the settings on your ipaq Matt
  8. Taking pics 2morrow so they'll be posted soon :D Did take the camera up to Scott but once I saw the car couldnt wait to drive it :D Yep Oli you'll see me around Swindon...
  9. :D I have just picked up my Altezza from Scott in Warrington :) What can I say :D :D :D :D Those Endless coil overs do ride very nice!! And the growl of that TRD exhaust, for the first time in umpteen years I turned the stereo down and listen to a car exhaust ..how sad is that....not at all This car will only stop growling when it sits above 95. Only bad part of being on the M6 in a lowered Black Tezza with the new Altezza Sports and Prestige badge is that those behind you try to get in the back set to read the badge..those on the inside lane wont let you in because they want to see what it is as well and of course the car growls like a caged tiger trying to get away. So I had to unleash the beast Oh the brakes work well Scott when a few drivers thought the speed limit was below 3 figures... Absolutely beautiful job Mr Scott!!! The beast is in pristine condition, Gr8 job Fitting Clifford Avant garde over weekend to keep the beast safe!!!
  10. mmm you lost me javadude 115 per month nets you 800pa ...mmm thought annum was 12 months :)
  11. Dam good question why fire at the pentagon (a primarily military building) How far away is the white house? Why would terrorist hit pentagon rather than where the politicians are?
  12. Lol we are all making assumptions that these aircrafts were manned!!! What if they were all unmanned
  13. The film Farenheint 911 makes you ask what did really happen on that day. There are more questions than answer is all I can say for obvious reasons (looking at possible outcome of 04 elections)
  14. If Bush wins it just shows the american mentality of "screw the planet" we are the world..Pretty sad that a country reverts to electing a "war president" when the world needs to be a safer place
  15. Sorry but emotion does get caught up when your defending the circumstances in how my child got hit by a car and thrown into the path of oncoming traffic!! ← I know exactly how you feel.. my son was knocked off his bike as he tried to cross the street. Funnily enough it was daylight and the car had just started to move off after being parked. Which goes to show that all moving vehicles should have some indication that they are on the move. So I DO believe all motorist should do all they can so they can be seen..If it means headlights at 2pm onwards during the winter then so be it. But I just think that for the sake of the discussion we should avoid any personal attacks. Lets hope none of us has any incidents during the winter where we wish we had use our headlights
  16. geez guys dont all get personal now.. Bottom line is that during dusk or anytime when a driver consider that HIS CAR may not be seen, he should put appropriate amount of lights to be seen by both pedestrians and other motorist. Think about this....Consider the small amount of time it takes you to glance in your rear view mirror would you see sidelights or head lights better? This should then tell you if headligts are required And show some love.. its just a discussion
  17. Does that mean you guys are gonna buy RS200 now :)
  18. IT in police force can get very interesting at times B)
  19. Scott has sorted a car for me and its a damn good thing he knows Altezzas or I guess I'd be still waiting for the car to pass ESVA ( he did most of the work rather than the test station)
  20. Good bit of info there from Colin. It is so easy to assume that a 6 cylinder would be natural progression from a 4 cylinder, whereas the reverse seems to be true here
  21. I think based on the amount of grief Scott has gone through to get mine through, he should set himself up as a consultant for ESVA(not just Altezza expert as he already is) Good luck imd and next time you need anything for your Altezza contact Altezza Sports and Prestige (Scott) I'm looking forward to getting mine on road soon after all the hard work Scott has done for me
  22. As per Rodders using something like nero is your best option for a decent quality DVD. Failing that do a search for avi and mpeg splitter.
  23. Change that grill and I'll like it. Vertical slots on the grill doesnt seem to match the way the lights are positioned. Horizontal slots or sports type grill may look better
  24. A bit fishy indeed. Did they have a company number or did you check companies house online for the name of the company. Dont waste your time on calls etc. Tell them that you'll send them your solicitors name by recorded delivery when they require it
