  1. Seemed to be in a hurry :-) Behind me in a R reg MK2 GS.
  2. You need to see what the plugs are - not to easy on the GS with all that stuff in the way. You should have PK16TR11's but you may find you have PK20TR11's which is a one stage colder plug. I don't think in normal circumstances it should make much difference but if you drive a lot in town or at low speed they could get prematurely fouled up. I suspect Toyota don't keep stock of the PK16's. I wouldn't get too worried, i think my LPG conversion puts the ignition under greater scruitiny.
  3. Just put a set of Denso Iridium IK16R11's in about a week ago. Difficult to tell if it was an improvement over standard as my last set of plugs were the wrong ones (Camry plugs) put in by a Toyota dealer 50,000 miles ago and were causing a misfire. Got mine from www.sparkplugs.co.uk next day which was quick, they are cheapest from ebay but delivery was a lot longer when i looked.
  4. Excellent tip, I suppose its in the Manual though? I've been driving around with my MK2 Wipers in this "winter position" ever since that massive snowstorm last year when they got stuck that way, thought they were just broken! Daniel.
