I've just received my 24k gold badges for my IS200 and was wondering how you get the badges off the car. Do you just prize them off with a knife or something or will this damage the paintwork? Also the badge on the grill seems to be part of the grill. Does this come off? It is a 2001 Lex If the badges get nicked is it possible to put the old ones back on? Cheers

Yes i'd like to do this. I dont have sat nav and want to fit this to a motorized housing so it will be out of sight without me having to remove the unit at night etc. Will just fold away nicely. ← Let us know if you manage to get it done mate. I would like to get the same sort of set up, but not going to get the TomTom untill i have somewhere to fix it. Motorized housing sounds perfect :P

Id go for black with chrome lettering. Thats what i'm going to do for mine. Can't seem to find anywhere that sells the stickers though

Could you not fit these where the standard sat nav goes on the IS200 if you dont already have it?

Do these arm rests flip up so you can still use the compartment underneath? Also is the front drinks holder still accessable? Brettster Any pics? Does it come with fitting instructions?

If these arm rests are still going for the same price I would definately be interested in getting one in black. Are they easy to fit?

I too am from Northampton and the Lexus dealer i use is Coventry. Its only about 30 miles and on the A45, so not too far. They have been very helpfull when i have used them and have quite a few second hand Lexus for sale. Have a look on there web site at the used cars, seem quite good value.

Any more news on the door sills? I'm interested in either chrome or carbon ones. Any pics?

Cheers guys. I've bought some of the turtle wax scratch and swirl remover so will try that when the weather picks up. As for the Orbit polisher how much do they cost and where could i get one from?

It seems every time i clean my car i seem to notice more and more very light scratches/marks on the paint work. My colour car is granite sky, so even an extremely clean car in sunlight looks like scratches or dents. Does anyone know a good cleaning process that will remove light marks?? My car was cleaned with diamond brite when i bought it second hand from a large second hand store ( car supermarket). I am only cleaning it with the diamond brite shampoo and protecting wax solution then using shammy to dry at the moment, so will this matter / affect using something else? Also i seem to get bird muck on my car EVERY DAY and wash it off with a cloth and water but it does no favours for the shine of the car, ( water marks) especially this time of year.I have seen spray wax / polish for just this thing like small areas. Does anyone know a good spray polish or wax to rebuff these small areas quick and easy? Many thanks for any contributions guys

Think i'm going for the OZ chronos e in silver 18". I have checked sizes and think these ones fit. I have seen other Lexus with the silver alloys and although i have granite sky, think it stands out more other than the muted gun metal

How did you change them to anthracite? Just paint them? I've been told they come in gold, silver and polished silver

Motech told me the Lenso gun metal Evo ll should fit the Lexus IS 200 and that they were a very good wheel. Only problem is that they are hard to get hold of ........ 3 MONTHS. Then tried wheel-base and have been told "The Lenso EvoII in gunmetal is not available for your car unfortunately only in silver and is currently out of stock and no available dates." Does anybody know a great wheel i can get and where from? 18" in gun metal that DEFINATELY fits the IS200. I have been looking for ages and have been chasing these Evo ll... :tsktsk: But now back at square one.. My car is IS 200 S 2001(51 Reg) in granite sky with standard suspension ( which i want to keep that way). Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks

Cos i'm not sure if they'll fit. Bloke wont give me measurements for offset or bore size, so something dodgy going on....... Maybe? Going to try motech in Milton Keynes in morning. Hopefully they will know if they fit or have some wheels similar or even better.. Have heard good things about them... Other than Race and Road that i have been dealing with so far. :shutit:

I very nearly bought them the other day! I'm not sure whether to now or not.

Asked again for offset and bore size. But they said " Im not sure why you would need this information? The wheels we supply will be a TUV approved fit for the car" Could somebody please tell me what this means? Thanks

Bloke from the shop said they would be the appropriate centre bore and offset for the car.

Had a quote Lenso Evo II 7.5*18" on Toyo Proxes T1-S 215/35R18: £1085.00. Would these fit my IS200 with standard suspension? I think they should do but i just wanted to check. Thanks
