  1. Not sure if you could use warm water to dilute it perhaps?
  2. I totally agree Samsung quality is top notch. The Magic v2 does feel well made though, but only time will tell. However it is not water or dust resistant. The 6 months inside or outside screen cover is a £50 labour charge only, so pretty good if you break it! Also, I know a bit about quality owning a Vertu Signature Touch made from grade 5 titanium, that was made over 8 years ago! For me and my eyesight folding phones are a big help, but the Folds weight means it is just too heavy to carry around in my suit pocket
  3. Hello, Excited about my new toy. I have had a number of mobile and folding phones over the years. But the arrival of the Honor Magic V2 folding phone got me very excited. Why? It's the future (along with garlic bread as our friend Peter Kay would say). So I have been into gadgets for many mnay years.. Walkmans hifi, laptops etc etc, This phone is light, mega thin and great specc, but surprisingly the battery is big at 5000mah and made from new stuff, silicon carbon! The bad bit is the cost at £1700, even with early bird deals still looking at £1200, so hardly a bargain! For some it maybe worth buying in 6 months time when it will be worth £500? I have a few phones at the moment which I rotate round including a Samsung galaxy fold (the brick). I can assure you, I will not be doing that now and will use this everywhere including in the car. Also interestingly this could be the battery technology for cars in the future?
  4. Nice one and that is good to hear. Thank you
  5. Hello Can I ask what screen wash you are using? Believe some ( Halfords cheap type) develop a sludge which blocks everything, pipes.nozzles etc If that is the case then it is best emptying and cleaning the whole reservoir tank.
  6. Yes I think the same, anyone who is friends with Taiwan is an enemy of China. JaPan is all about perfection, China is abpit copying, how different these two countries are.
  7. Malc it's shocking.I think they own about one fifth of Ghana. Did not know that USA
  8. Hello zBoomer54, Sorry to hear about the situation you were forced in a difficultsituation to by some little ****. Taking advantage of an mature gentle person like yourself. Coward! Although I live near Manchester. It has its good bits and bad bits, like EVERY place in the UK. You can take the monkey out of the jungle but you can't take the jungle out of the monkey!! There is huge frustrations on the roads. Zillions of cars, queues, red lights. Cyclists. Taxi drivers. Buses etc. Which adds to our STRESS levels. So my advice. Soak it in. You have the beautiful car,put on some chilled music and relax. The nutters we can't control or stop. BTW everyone wants to race me in my Bentlry especially the Gplf GTI and some BMW drivers, but am not bothered about them. However, suprisingly for me. now and then I let go on the ls600hl and smile, it's a nice feeling. Anyway just imagine that nutter must have pulled up against someone, who may have just took a few of his teeth out!!
  9. I would like point out something about China. Do not consider them as 1 country. Do you know how much land in Africa and Asian countries they have bought, from government deals? There assets are truly spread world wide. So if they do get squeezed, they have other options. Yes Russia and China need each other. With Iran and a few other countries standing in unity.
  10. This brand and model will sell in small amounts in the USA. However the biggest market is China and if you know the Chinese they love a great brand first, so again not sure about the sales here either.
  11. Sorry. here you go.....https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/395116955524?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=olaxqkjnsz2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=8XGggStyR4O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  12. Thanks I have seen one on ebay that has its own plastic plate and suggested has no issue with blurring. May check it out.
  13. Hello One thing I don't have in my MY 2010 LS600hl is a heads up display. Dissapointed really. as I know most smaller cars like Pruis have these. Has anyone fitted an aftermarket one on the dash? Any to avoid? Or things to watch out for? Thanks
  14. I have 245/45/19 on my Lexus LS600hl and 245/35/20 on my other car (Bentley Continental GT) So great on the big heavy cars. Not sure how 245 will ride on your car.
  15. Thank. I was not speeding so 18 mph. I can't remember the seatbelt tightening though as it happened so quick. It mist have thought the car in front was coming into me?
  16. Hello Driving on a 20mph road and a car coming in the other direction. Not speeding or anything. Then just before car passes me I see a large red rectangle on my dash screen and hear loud beep sound. It then goes off and stays off Is this a warning the car going to hit me or something? Thanks
  17. I also agree anti glare is a must. When you driving at night and the very powerful headlights hit your eyes, the impact is lessened with having the coating
  18. Thank you. Just talking about screenwash, I think it is a matter of higher concentration in winter? Also does anyone know if Lexus have heated washer jets like the VW group?
  19. Approx how many live in Jotdan and Lebanon please? Where are all the other Muslim countries please,? E.g. Egypt. UAE etc etc
  20. One issue with this country we just claim off our insurance and no chase or bother by police or anyone else. Yes more should be done in the docks. There will be an issue in other European countries too, but I think we ee always slow to react in the UK. Insurance companies do not care. They are in thus business and work off cars getting stolen and not recovered. The owner will always lose, come renewal or have to oay an excess
  21. Hello, I just wanted to talk about cars stolen from the UK and abroad. They are rarely going to Middle East countries as many have very strict laws, in Dubai you will see lambos and ferraris abandoned, if the owner defaults payment on the ca, it could be a jail sentence. Africa (quite many countries) there is a huge demand for SUV and luxury cars. There is so much corruption nobody cares if it has been stolen and where from. Car stripped for parts, Romania , Poland and some other East European Countries. Car crime uis rife in most countries.. I was in Pakistan and there is a place called Ghair Alaka. Which is about 15 mile stretch before you hit Afghanistan. In that area it is full of stolen cars, brand new shoguns etc and you are free to drive there and in Afghanisran, just not in Pakistan where are stolen from. Is anything g done to recover these, nope.
  22. Thanks guys, learning good stuff here, keep them.coming
  23. Yes spot on. Or how about.. Whatever you drive, wear, own or even the Country you think is yours forget it!!. Its all borrowed and you are on borrowed time. Put all the differences aside and make the most of life. And smile!
