    I've used and still are using Zymol on various silver cars,first it was carbon which was very nice and then i got a s/hand pot of titanium,the titanium gives a bit more flake,even on silver !

    The French especially see an English car as an easy target so take it easy near to the ports,also stand alone units for speed camera warnings are a no no (thepolice take credit cards !!),unless you've got it hidden :winky: ,not sure on Sat-nav warnings though.Petrol stations in the more rural areas they still shut for the 3 hour lunch and the automated pumps don't always accept English cards.But the best advice is to just enjoy it,even on the motorway the scenery can be amazing .

    If you want something that lasts and is easy to use try Collinite 845,plus it's a reasonble price !

    Not sure if it's the same for all colours,but my Lexus touch-up paint is water based,it's very easy to blend the paint into a scratch,just paint and then leave for a while, after which dampen the end cap and wipe across the scratch,do it a couple of times and you'll be surprised what you can hide !

    Morning all,after a few years away just brought a Is300,totally different in a good way to drive to my old Ls (obviously),but still feels and smells like a Lexus ! :),spent a few hours on here fact finding,so thank you for the wealth of information.

    just a word of caution to save your time, [with smartnav] a lot of radios are too slow to 'react' to a satnav message,you lose part of the message when muting, unlike a phone ringing which just loses a ring or 2.
