  1. In my opinion there is a lot of difference, it's fun! Please Prolex confirms the final ratio and send me one to Spain
  2. Anyone with the toyota's gear box model a45de Look in google and you will find several models like Hiace, Estima, Mark II, Crown...
  3. What's the ratio of that differential? It depends on its origin, it's from altezza has ratio 4,100, it's from European IS200 has ratio 3,909 (LSD type). I said to you that it interested one to me.
  4. If you want a brand new torsen diff but not the expensive original OEM you have an alternative torsen too much more cheap (about 400 USD). The rear differential of the IS200 It's a F series, 7.5" ring size, like a front diff LandCruiser 90, and Detroit Locker make a Truetrac 911A342, a torsen diff. Like this http://www.drivetrainspecialists.com/categ...oduct-2381.html
  5. Year of Manufacture: August 1999 Date first Registered: Feb 2001 Country of Origin: SPAIN Model: IS200 auto Engine: 1G-FE Colour code: 051 WHITE PEARL Trim code: LB20 Axle code: A01A
  6. I have an IS200 in white pearl 051, but in Spain :D , and not S/C
  7. That seems to you? Have good look and I suppose that will be cheaper http://www.thunder-muffler.com.tw/ep2.asp?Sn=19

You can see this post: http://clublexus.eu/foro/viewtopic.php?p=3995 Also I saw in the LOC a post about axel's code and I would like to add to things that I have been finding out: A01A/B --- 4,100 ratio gear no lsd/LSD A02A/B ----4,300 A03A/B ----3,909 The first digit A denote F series, 7.5" ring size, diff in the GXE10/SXE10, as Supra mkII, Cressida, Crown, etc. in the IS300 JCE10 the first digit B denote G series diff, 8" ring size, that G series as Supra MkIII perhaps the carrier be swap it. The second an thrid digit denote ratio and 4ht digit denote lsd or not lsd. That's all. Greetings.
  12. Sorry , edit for better understanding
  13. I'm looking any info in the forum with the search tool but I have not found it. Since the revision of 90,000 km (55.000 miles?) in the lexus dealer when the car it's stoped have a litle shake with handle in D and stepped on brake then the idle speed are low, when no brake or turn the lights or N is put then up to normally idle. They have connected the diagnosis machine and say that everything It's OK and the idle speed It's normal (the machine reads 570-580-590 rpm), but I know that before not vibrate. What thing can be bad or is necessary to watch? It's a IS200 AT produced year 1999 month 06. The service in Malaga, Spain, is a little deficient :tsktsk: Greetings.
  14. Thanks also this measure 4,9" are wrong
  15. Now I understand, thanks to clarify. Abusing of your patience, the internal diameter (where the OEM LSD/or not LSD slips into OEM shafts) is 4.9" ? And the lenght? Thank you very much for your time.
  16. But TRD says: Exclusive side gear shaft required. M/T(*4),A/T(*5) *4 41309-22060 2 Toyota Genuine Part "0" *5 41309-14050 2 Toyota Genuine Part "0" Then it seems there are difference between both (MTM and ATM) In the Kaaz list don't appear this distinction. It worries to me because I don't want to have the stopped car waiting for other pieces when it conducts the operation.
  17. Thanks, also with the OEM torsen (manual to automatic) too?
  18. I'm confused but not the only one http://my.is/forums/showthread.php?t=268738 , unfortunately it's not resolute, somebody that it knows the information relative to the measures can help me? I see in this page http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_lsd_selective.html that they exist basically two types, 43101-SE100 and 41301-JX001, I would like to think that there isn't difference of external measures Also it's possible I can buy soon a differential torsen, finding this way the measures. Greetings.
  19. Thanks for the answers! I have not been able to resist and I have bought one later I have seen that it serves to swap for IS300 but not for IS200. It's a G315, ring size 8", FGR 3,909 and 5 pinions LSD. Now my idea is open it and change the internal pieces Well, I will put photos of all it conforms advance. Greetings.
  20. I have read a lot of pages but can't find info, either with the search tool Can you help me? Thanks

  22. Well, this is the differential ratio's gear: IS 200 manual 3,909:1 IS 200 aut. 4,100:1 Thank you I will try the change, bye!
