    Hi Guys gear box problems 1st to 2nd Old topic here I know but was wandering if any of you out there have managed to convince Lexus that this is not 'a characteristic of the car" its just :tsktsk: build quality of the gear box. Car in for a service on thursday and was going to try and get it sorted again! any thought :)

    My car is in for some work tomorrow taking it to a Lexus service center only! I have ordered a courtesy car but aint to sure what I'm getting???

    Hi guys how bad do the alloys have to be before they change them? One of mine is starting to go around the valve area now. Car in garage next week to try sort out the :tsktsk: squeks is it worth asking the question? Feel like ther are to many niggles with the car already. dreading going the garage!

    Snap mate. My Is has done this a few times now and exactly how yours does. Fine in the morning even in the snow we had but when i finish work the baby sometimes dont want to go. Weird i put it down to battery problem and am keeping my eye on that but any other pointers much appreciated. I only joined this forum a few weeks ago and have done nothing but complain about teething problems i'm getting with my car. Starting to wonder if it was the right choice, or if the dealer kept 'something' from me. a little confused??? and a bit dissapointed!

    Cheers guys next one how do you get your hands on the centre rear brake light then? Think this is the reason for the irritating squeak. looks as though its a bit loose as one of the fastening pins underneath has broken!

    Hi guys just a quick question. Please forgive my ignorance but i guess most of you will know the answer to the question. ready . . . Do the rear seat of the IS200 fold down?? If so how? It says yes in the manual but I Can't work them out? If they don't please dont laugh to loud I'm still learning! :D

    SAME HER MATE. SOZ CANT HELP THOUGH MY IS IS200 CREAKING SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE CAR LIKE THE BACK SHELF AREA BUT I CANT SORT THE DAM NOISE! I 'VE ONLY HAD THE CAR 2 MONTHS ON A 52 PLATE AND IT CREAKS LIKE ITS 20YEARS OLD! HAVNT CONTACTD THE DEALERS YET AS DONT THINK THAY WOULD SORT IT! SO IF ANY ONE KNOWS HOW TO SOLVE THE PROB PLEASE ITS DOIN MY HEAD IN . . .

    Cheers Chris will take you up on that offer mate. good to have a proper chat with you. just didnt want to fit it yet though just incase the little rascals that 'aquired' my efront emblem were still around! i reckon they could do a bit more damage if they try to remove this logo! :D

    TRUE CHRIS I DO HAVE THE SPORTS GRILLE! STILL NOT FITTED IT YET THOUGH! WAS THINKING OF EXHAUST CHANGE DOES IT MAKE THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE TO THE PERFORMANCE? HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO PAY? :)
