  1. Sorry forgot to say that the belt is best done at 60-80000 miles, I had mine done plus pump etc, and when the belt came out it was fine, but not worth the risk IMO !
  2. Mine's about to go on ebay next week, PM me if you want details!
  3. I am about to sell my sportcross on ebay, first time selling a car on there, I suppose it might have been friends of the seller or others thinking they would buy the car and then changing their mind at the last minute? still, won't happen with mine as I have no friends!!
  4. Is that any sportcross or just the 200?
  5. Thanks! Like the Autotrader no phone number principle.....
  6. Hi, sad post as I am selling (not using her enough to even stop the battery going flat!) after about 7/8 years. Can anyone tell me the best place to sell (Gold on here/Autotrader/Piston Heads etc) where did you find the best? If you sell on Autotrader etc do you still get hassle from selling agents? Not looking forward to this Ending up driving a perfectly competent boring CRV to also tow with, but it's hardly 3 litres with the power button on is it !
  7. Thanks, could you advise where I can find out which fuse it is, I have looked for a fuse list on the knowledgebase, but couldn't find one, is there one on the site...? Maybe the lights themselves and oil level sensor share a fuse and that fuse is faulty, causing the warning lights to detect the problem??
  8. Happy New Year to you all, I have had a trawl through the forum but.... My 'top up oil' and 'bulb failure' orange warning lights have come on (and stayed on) at exactly the same time....oil level is fine, and no bulbs have gone (incl. number plate and H/L brake)...so I am wondering if it's a fuse or electrical fault Have checked the footwell fuse boxes...dry Have reset the ecu... What do you think?
  9. My sportcross is a 2002, it will go on for many years yet, without depreciation and I anticipate no problems. Sadly (very) we have little need for her now after many years of ownership, and she may be destined for a new owner in the New Year. These are not troublesome expensive cars to own. The discussions on the forum tend still to revolve around the 'old chestnuts'. Remarkable for a model designed maybe 17 years ago! Fuel costs mean nothing when compared to depreciation or a troublesome car...QED.
  10. Hey Sandy, I see from the first picture, you have 3 trees growing out of the back seat..........unique!!
  11. Oh dear m'duck, its rotten when you put money into a motor that's bad, I too have in the past (thanks British Leyland) and you know that if you get rid, the money is wasted....but in the end if you really have lost the love...it might be time to 'man-up' (as someone said to me last week!) It must be a pain the wotsit reading smug quotes on here when your Lex is on the floor......
  12. Hi Neil, I am thinking....but can't think of anything useful yet!
  13. I like those woody pens.... (by the way I'm on Citalopram so I'm with you!!)
  14. Not as I understand it (unless anyone else knows better), the back end is different, just as the rear of the exhaust is different. I have tried to find a towbar for my 300s/c and failed....and didn't want to get into oil coolers and things anyway as it's auto....
