Hi all Had the lovely Check VSC warning come up a few times recently but cleared it by disconnecting the battery to see if it was just spurious. It wasn't and returned after 2 days each time. I bought the Techstream kit from eBay (TaggyTech, excellent) and ran a test this morning. Only one fault code, P0172, system too rich Bank 1. I can make adjustments to all kinds of things using Techstream but what should I be looking at first? On my old cars I'd have been using a Colourtune and screwdriver! Please see attached pic from laptop. Regards to all.

When I connect Techstream and look at live data for the Air Suspension module, I am particularly curious about the Max Damper Step values. They appear to be fixed at 17, with the struts being at their firmest (17) when the car is stationary or slow moving - and only beginning to "loosen" off once there's a bit of speed. That means the ride is *deliberately* firm at slow speed... whereas I'd love to feel a cossetting boaty feel at slow speed. I can manually set a single damper to any value, even 1 (floaty), for testing, but I'm not sure there's a way to encourage softer damping overall. A favour to ask anyone with Techstream and an air-equipped LS430... with your suspension switch in "normal/sport", is there any difference to the Max Damper Step setting on your car? Is it always 17? If so, why is it even mentioned in live data? If there's a way of configuring it to a lower maximum, then I feel the car would avoid the "stiff knees" feeling at low speed and make life a little softer around car parks, etc.

Hi, I found this guide while searching for an easy way to run the TechStream in a more modern operating system: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/how-to-techstream-in-5-minutes.1034923/ I previously had an old laptop running Win7 and it was rather painful to get the Mini VCI cable drivers installed. I got that working, but the battery of this old laptop is almost dead, so I needed a new solution. I've been using VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/) earlier (to run Linux OS in a Win 10 laptop), so I wanted to try this VirtualBox method: behind that link there is a ready made Virtual Machine image containing Win XP, TechStream v12 and all needed drivers, everything already installed! So I just had to download the image (about 1.5GB), and start that VM, and connect the Mini VCI cable... and I got working connection to my GS in no time! (of course you need to install the VirtualBox software to your PC, if you don't have it before...) BR. Sami

Hi all, I bought a Techstream system off fleabay and it has yet to connect. What's worse is that now my old ODB2 scanner can't connect either. It says "Cannot connect to ECU". So, can I reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10 mins? Does the radio have an unlock code if I do disconnect the battery? (No I can't find one in my documentation) Thanks all :D
