Pwr Outlet 15 Amp Fuse

Recommended Posts

Ciggy lighter fuse blew earlier on the handsfree phone adaptor. came on here to find where the fuse was ( thanx guys - better than the manual ), pulled it out and yes it was blown. When to my supply but haven't got anything physically that small. So popped in the one marked PWR OUTLET 15A.

I am guessing this powers the optional power supply in the boot, is this right? If not what does it power and am I going to be without anything driving to work tomorrow? If so I'd better phone the R.A.C. before they go to bed :)

Cheers for the replies guys :)

Didn't llook in the engine, maybe tomorrow have a look in there. I can see why these cars are made for the Japanese market. I'm know ginat but I struggled to get down the fuses by the drivers footwell. Then to my suprise I could only see two of the rows of fuses ( nead a small head and a small body ), then found my fingers were to small to get in there and pull the miniature fuse out. Thank goodness for long nose pliers !!

Just hoping that the accelerator is still working tomorrow ;)

had exact same prob myself, but bought some fuses from local car parts place for 65p each. bought a spare of each amp just in case.

theres one thing i havent managed to fix or find in the manual and thats the fuse for the 'reading light' (the 1 near the sunroof)

does any1 know if that has a fuse and if so where is it? or is it the actul bulb that could be fused (not checked that cuz not sure how to take light cover off )
