Gs300 Mk2 Double Din Install Help.

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone , new to the site.

I have a Lexus gs300 mk2 2002 model and am having some trouble fitting a new double din head unit , as the standard one has got some issues.

I have bought myself a pioneer avh-x3500dab , along with an autoleads pc2-92-3 adaptor cable that attaches to the stock amplifier.

I have attached the autoleads cable to the stock amp behind the glovebox and connected the wires to the new head units wiring loom supplied by pioneer, everything but the sound works, Bluetooth, USB connection for iPod and Iphone, Ariel is plugged in, but as soon I was playing around with the search option for the radio to try and get some whit noise or sound, I got an amp error come up on the screen and it wouldn't turn off unit I unplugged the head unit from the amp.

The original sound system is a premium sound system that is stated on the factory head unit.

I hope someone could shed some light on what is needed to get this working.

Regards
