Electric Windows Not Working?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, had to replace the Battery on my is220d yesterday. The original Battery was still on there which isnt bad for 8 years. This morning gone out and the only window that opens is the drivers side front. This will only go down if i hold the switch, not the normal 1 touch.

can anyone shed some light on this?

thanks

simon

You need to re-sync the windows anytime the Battery is disconnected. Here's the procedure:

Go to each window (not drivers one ofcourse :) ) roll it all the way down, then roll it all the way up again, but do not let go of the switch once it has rolled back up, hold the switch for approximately 4 seconds. Then let go and do the same for all other windows. This will re-sync the windows.
