If I am free I'd be up for it. Pretty busy these days so would need to be fairly advanced booking. Don't expect h&s cat back to add big gains. All it does is remove the rear muffler and reduce the size of the back boxes. Paired with a stock isf it would add more than a takeda. The takeda is known to sap up to 5hp but adds epic sound.

If you want gains you need down pipes and headers that remove the primary cats as well as removing the muffler and making the back boxes smaller. The stock intake is proven to be pretty much the most efficient in terms of power just lacks sound. Mine ran something like 419 with H&S cat back and takeda.

Got this email today from Rebellion:

Hi Peter,

It would seem that somewhere wires have been crossed. The ISF is not a vehicle that has been remapped by us we focus on European Muscle mainly.

We will be receiving our new dyno very soon and have a supplier that has a tuning tool available for these cars, and I would be happy to demo it on your vehicle when our dyno is installed and we can see actual gains..But I would not be happy to sell it until I can prove it does anything.

Have offered to be a guinea-pig once they get their new dyno installed. Based on what I've read on the U.S. forum, even if they did manage to install a new map on the ECU, it self-corrected itself after a few days back to the original settings. :(

No harm in trying though. :)

No worries Luke. ;)

I was somewhat surprised to read your post, as I have been looking into tuning these cars for a while now, and couldn't find anything on remapping the ECU's. :(

To the best of my knowledge, the only companies to successfully remap the ECU (albeit a JDM ECU, not EU version) are Novel and SARD in Japan.

Think we have a good shot of being able to fit a JDM ECU to our cars (more chance than the USDM ECU from what I've read), but cost is around the £2K mark.

Be great if a UK tuner could re-map our cars. Trouble is the map is often wiped out after a few days by the ECU (it re-learns the original parameters). :(
