What should be in the boot?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've been on here.

I've just replaced my 9 year old is250SE with a is300h F Sport (14 months old) love the car and very happy with it. I got it from my local Lexus Dealership (Birmingham). I have just had a good look in the boot when transfering my personal bits and pieces and found the usual stuff Compressor,Tyre repair Gel,Jack and towing ring. but noticed that there are some securing points and some empty compartments.I'm just wondering if there was a tool kit and a warning triangle in there that has been removed.and if there should be anything else in there that should be?

I'm due to go back to the dealership on Monday morning (15th) to sort out a small defect on the rear bumper so would like to ask them where (if they are missing) these items are?

could anyone tell me what should be found in the boot as standard it would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance

Phil

I'd concur with above.

As an aside I'd recommend getting the boot protector (cheaper off E-Bay Lexus), if you haven't already got one. I was sceptical, but it is very useful for stopping things sliding around in the boot too, therefore avoiding spillages in the first place.

David.
