Hi,

all, have my lexus for about seven months now, have done all my brakes and fitted crossdrilled and groved discs and ebc pads,i am ok with mechanical and some electrics, but my interior is a light cream colour, that would be ok if you were not going in and out with boilersuits on most of the time, and want to change to the darker grey and black half leather ones, have changed the door cars already, and have good seats from a 2003 lexus is 200 sport cross estate coming up. will the front seats be ok ,but just realised the back seats as on estate come down,as the estate has no bulkhead behind rear seats, can I still fit them, and so far cant seem to remove my seat base at all can some one please help with any info on removing my old ones and how to go about front air bags and how to remove sensors?

please be gentle with me as I have not tried to remove seats on this car before.

thanks,

Douglas orr.

Hi Douglas and welcome to the LOC. We are a friendly bunch so please don’t hold back asking questions big or small should you have any problems with your car. We always welcome ideas on how to overcome problems with our cars but as they are the finest cars in the universe they don’t go wrong that often.

We always love to see pictures of your cars so don't be shy.

Happy Lexus Motoring.

Hi Douglas, welcome to the forum. There is somewhere on the forum a link to a PDF of the workshop manual, that would hopefully show you all you need. I'm afraid I have personal experience (yet!) of taking out the seats but I think you may struggle putting rear SportCross seats into a saloon. I have a copy of the PDF, but because of PC problems, I can't access it immediately; that said if you can't find the link just let me know and I will dig it out for you.
