Hi People :)

i bought a is200 in december 2003 and am new to this site. There are a few things that im not sure how to do and was hoping for some of the expert users to give me some info.

-what are the code buttons in the new topic screen (guided mode/normal mode)

-How do i put a pic in my posts & replies??

- how do i view a certain members pics?

- whats the difference between reply and quick reply

im sure there will be more questions as i go along but this will do for now

When replyin to topic press the "IMG" button that will then ask you to enter the URl of the hosted picture

- how do i view a certain members pics?

if you click on a users name it will take you to his profile, you will find a lot of users have garages setup. they will show this in their signature a lot of the time.

Try with mine

- whats the difference between reply and quick reply

1 is quick reply with basic options options allowing you to "Quick Reply" the other is a full reply with extra options. Both post onto board in same way

one more question - how did you put in the quotes on your reply??

Still Grinning: I am and im not- after buying it i was hearing noises coming from under the front of the car - took it back and (Lex Croydon) and they changed the dampers (under Warrenty). I also thought that it was a bit load going over bumps (kind of banging/klunking) but this has not been sorted - after reading some of the posts on this site im thinking that it could be the ball joints (will do full lock over bump test today) -- anyone with ideas of what else this could be??? --

As for the image, you can either use the URL button to post a link to the the image (reccomended), or use the browse button at the bottom of the post to attach one from your harddrive.

To quote, you click the 'quote' button on top of the post you want to quote..

yeah it does do the same thing... but designed to be used for different info...

Its just a back box, so its not too loud, but it does sound luuurvely..
