RX450H

I have just purchased a RX450H and it drives great; I have been reading on the internet that the RX450H is not too great in snow and can be embarrassing. My previous car which I part exchanged for the Lexus was a Range Rover Sport which cut through snow like a knife through butter; it also had hill descent control which meant you could drive down any steep hill in snow without any fear of collision; can yo someone let me know if the RX450H is really that bad in snow and whether snow tyres might make a difference in that case. My Range cut through snow even with normal summer tyres.

Cross Climates on mine too.  no issues whatsoever getting to/from my dad's house in teh odd snowy days we had last winter.  His place is at the bottom of a hill on a suburban estate, hasn't seen a snowplough or gritter in living memory and consequently gets pretty slippery.  Fresh snow as not even noticeable, days 2 and 3 is always more fun becasue that's compacted snow and ice, enought to have defeated me with lesser cars, but the RX just wafted up and down with the heated seats on full.   Not sure I'd tackle  A 2 foot drift though.
