Just Purchased a GS300 MK1 Sport

Hi All

I've just purchased a Lexus GS300 MK1 Sport. Finally found one after looking for a while.

Prev. had LS400.

Any MK1 Sport fans out there that i can connect with please? I've got a list of work that I need to do!

Can anyone tell me what the standard MK1 Sport suspension set up is? I'm looking for some after market springs to lower the car down to 35mm but finding springs is impossible!

Here are pictures from the day i picked up.

 

Does anyone know where i can get lowering springs for this model? I've tried a few places but not having any luck. I'm after a 25mm/35mm suspension drop. Any help is appreciated.

Nice purchase. The gen1 Sport looked awesome, and the Borbet TTE Grandstand alloys (have to be the staggered set though) we’re just perfect for the car. Loved mine, and still prefer the loom of the gen1 Sport over the gen2, especially the rear end.

 

I’ve still got a set of the wheels, and probably still have a few other parts knocking about in the garage (gen1 and gen2)
