Hi all. Apologies if this has been covered - I have searched -

The 10th character on my recently acquired UX is a Zero. This makes no sense as the Manufacture Year Code should be there and that's a letter not numerical.

Can anyone suggest which character I should be looking at for the manufacture year please?

All of my Lexus VIN have a zero in the 10th position.

Keep in mind there is a difference in standards across the pond, the North American VIN is formatted differently from the EU/ROW VIN. I believe you are describing the NA format.

Interestingly the official Toyota/Lexus.EU website doesn't provide the YOM when decoding the VIN but does give the complete build spec.
