Water pump and other things

Recommended Posts

The car has just been serviced

I have clocked 52800 miles to date, this year 10800 miles so the dealership has refused to replace the water pump under extended 10 year warranty ( max 10,000 per year)

Pump change is going to cost £400. Not going to break the bank but was wondering if I can do it myself (heating engineer)

Aircon is goosed as well, condenser failed. Dealership quoted £900. No gas as it has leaked out. This I will do myself and get it checked for soundness and regassed

Rear left reversing sensor plays up first thing in the morning. Then behaves itself  rest of the day

Headlamp height sensor on the rear axle, the connecting arm had rusted and broken resulting in lights being high when in dip mode. Got replacement and swopped the arm, all good.

What advice do the regulars have

Just joined so you guys with experience, you insight will be most appreciated

Any point in contacting Lexus themselves? This car is our 4th Lexus
