VIN will have year of manufacture

In the UK, the VIN no longer identifies manufacturing date, but even if it did, it doesn't reveal the Model Year. MY 2024 NX was said to be manufactured from Spring 2023 according to Lexus Europe, though actual dates varied by market.

You'll find that numbering convention for the VIN position 10 doesn't apply to Toyota/Lexus vehicles in the UK. It may be used by other brands but Toyota/Lexus stopped using it some time ago. My VIN has a 0 in that 10th position which the above convention doesn't recognise. Test it against your VIN.
