RX400h 2005 for sale (or breaking)

Hi

Am looking to sell / scrap my RX400h.

Has 126000 miles on it and 12 months MOT - that is the good news. Bad news is I have had the common waterleak isue which has affected the hybrid system. Got the check hybrid system warnings on my way to Gatwick a couple of weeks ago. Got there, went on holiday came back and car started fine with no warning lights. 

Sadly though my garage (independent Toyota specialist) says it is not economic to repair - hence decison to sell/scrap it.

Car is near Gatwick am open to any reasonable offer or some advice as to best place to sell to a breaker.

Hi Chris and welcome to the LOC.

The water leak issue is causing quite a few problems if it goes undetected at an early stage unfortunately.

Could I ask if you could edit your post to conform to LOC rules? Details are all in the link below.

As regards price I would get a few breaker quotes then perhaps offer it to members at the same price. At least that way it may get repaired rather than broken up. 
I’ll remove your other duplicate post in the RX forum but leave a link otherwise responses will be all over the place.

Should sell at that price, had I been 20 years younger and closer I would have considered it myself.
