Stain Removal On The Cupholder Cover

Hi Folks,

New to this forum so pls be gentle! I have a '98 Series 2 GS300SE, and there's a stain/mark on the cover of the front cup-holders (next to the gear-lever), which I can't seem to get off.

It looks like it's coffee or something that's been left to go hard - the damn stuff is like super-glue! No amount of elbow grease will shift it. I've tried vinegar and a bathroom cleaner on it to no avail. I'd like to try something more deadly, but I'm worried about damaging the plastic of the cup-holder cover.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Will I melt the cover if I try white spirit or something equally bonkers? Does anyone have any Alien blood?

Russ.

Hi Russ

Good stuff to use...tried & tested is 'De-Solve-It' available Waitrose etc.

Its a natrual based spray which cleans just about anything & is safe to use on all surfaces

Good luck :D
