I find online quotes not the greatest, its always better to call up and do some haggling with other insurance brokers. I would try a few of the larger companies like tescos and admiral etc and the the more specialist ones.

I think you have a few hurdles - your age, you're an overseas student (so haven't had a uk licence for long? - in fact have you a uk licence? Reason i ask is one of my uni friends ws from malaysia and iirc she couldn't drive without a uk licenceholder in the car........ but then another friend, she had an international one and she could) I take it your fmaily are not over here?

I do have an UK lisence, I learnt and got it here, but as you said, not for too long. I am also a British citizen with a British passport (don't know if that means anything for insurance though). And yes, my family is not over here :o . However, from reading this thread, i suppose an S model is absolutely duable? Especially my area is a really safe area...

Eitherway, thanks again for everyone's kind help, I shall keep you guys updated if anything happens in the upcoming months!

21 yrs old, is200 is £2100, BMW 330 ACS is £3100. Thats a £1000 per litre. Your postcode is a big factor im afraid mate, if i was a few miles one way or the other, could knock £500 off mine. It sux :crybaby: Damn Scouse Postcodes, don#t even live near Liverpool
