Size and resolution went down together.

Use the "Resample" option in Corel PhotoPaint, change the measurement to "Pixels" and set the required width in pixels (the height will change automatically).

It's a Panasonic NV-GS400 camcorder (about a grand's worth), sunshine ain't a problem as it'll adjust itself to suit. Any potential overexposure is shown on-screen with zebra striping until it adjusts itself.

ah!

you mean you manipulated the image after taking it?

I thought you meant the settings on the camera.

I can tone down the levels afterwards in photoshop - but would like to improve my photography ability, and be able to take a semi decent photo in the first place! :lol:
