Took my car out for a rip and felt a loss of power when i put my fut down, so i took the car back home and had a look under the hood for loose vacuum line etc but everything was a Lexus intended the i realised it had two throttle cables. The cable connected to the foot pedle works fine but the one connected to the Speed Control Actuator does not move. When is this supposed to supposed to move at certain revs or some time else?

Can anyone help?

Sorry for the long post

Cheers

Hi...

Preview and read your post through before posting it,i had to read it through a couple of times to make sense of it...

Like you say one cable goes to the throttle and should move the butterfly when its pressed...

The other cable only moves when the cruise control is in use,so unless its on a rolling road with the bonnet up and the cruise on,you wont see it move..

Cheers chips.
