Hi all

Last year the air con packed in and it turned out to be a corroded condensor, so this was replaced, only for a bit of the pipe work to then leak, so that was replaced. All was well for a few months and then it stopped again but as it was November I wasn't too bothered.

Now that things are getting warmer, I've looked at it again and it's the compressor. We can't have put in enough oil in to the system as it looks like it has seized.

So first question - Does any one have any diagrams of how best to replace it. Can you just losen the power steering pump and so on and extract it up or do you have to extract it from below?

2nd question - Anyone know of an alternative to the £800 for a new one or £500 for a recon through Lexus?

If the compressor had gone first I might have not bothered but I spent £500 last year so in for a penny in for a pound :crying:

Thanks
